Valentines may be over for another year but I’m all still about sharing the love. Aaron & Angela’s engagement shoot fills me with so much joy that there was no way I wasn’t going to post it. Aren’t those letters and words just awesome?! And don’t even get me started on the beach scene with the glitterball prop – faaabulous. Yey to love love love!

Underwater Love

Jorg & Barbi’s day after shoot was anything but standard! I would say what a brave couple for getting in the sea in their wedding gear but I would imagine the sea in The Philippines to be rather warm!

So you loved Omar & Junela’s gothic engagements right? Well you are going to go doolally over their wedding. Words can not describe the work, passion and love that must have gone into planning this day. The details are spectacular and the bride’s powder pink feathered dress, designed and made by Filipino designer Joel Escober…well it literally made my heart skip a beat.

I have a little two part-er for you right now. Omar & Junela’s gothic engagement and Rock n Roll wedding were both so awesome I had to share them together - first up the ridiculously inspiring engagements.  The editing is big, brash and in your face, but I think it really works with the gothic theme of this session. I am in actual LOVE!
Stay tuned for part two tomorrow- their amazing gothic wedding…

It doesn’t get tired seeing your name in real-life print! I am loving writing my monthly article for Photo Pro Magazine and being able to share some of my favourite photographers with the world. This month I not only shared a magazine with Katie Price who is on the front cover (she’s a big deal here in the UK – unfortunately!) but I was able to write about the amazing MangoRED. Long term readers of Rock n Roll Bride will know how fanatical I am about Ryan & Randall’s work. I love them! Ok…so, without further ado let’s get on with this show…  Read the rest of this entry »

Vagabond Lovers

Ryan & Cha Cha’s engagement session blows everything else out of the water. An eclectic, colourful, hilarious, circus, wonderland styled shoot looks like absolute crazy fun.

A sugarcane plantation in Northern Cebu was the perfect backdrop for our quirky theme of vagabond lovers. Hats, clown figurines, a colored umbrella, truck load of clothes, bicycles, and a purple teddy bear. Pure craziness in the middle of nowhere!

The Cimbo Limbo posts continue with part deux of the grand review of 2009. Brace yourselves for the July to December extravaganza people!

♥ Jenny & Johnny were way to stylish and way to cool to exclude from this list. If I had a face like hers I’d certainly be rocking the girl-hawk hair do. A Ring bearing ninja, the motorbike portraits and the tattoo-inspired illustration guestbook all add to the mad style

♥ Teneisha & Chris’ crazy-gorgeous LasVegas wedding was nothing short of epic. That dress!

♥ Something a bit different for Rock n Roll Bride here, but how could I resist those faces?

As is customary at this time of year, I wanted to take some time to look back over the last 12 months and share with you some of my most favourite weddings, photo shoots and features. I think you’ll be hard pushed to not find something that makes you go ‘ooooh’ amongst this lot. Enjoy a-reminiscing! I’ll be back tomorrow with part 2 (there’s too much to narrow it down to just one post!) I’m also taking this slow blog-time (I like to refer to it as ‘Crimbo Limbo’ (!) to ponder my ideas and plans for Rock n Roll Bride in 2010. I’ll try and share my musings for the year ahead with you soon and would love for you to let me know what you think. It’s all about you dear reader after all…

♥ 2009 started off with a bang, with this ridiculously fabulous ‘Chicken Man and the Naked Chick’ shoot and wedding. If you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing this before, you certainly won’t be disappointed

♥ This magician and his wife’s 1920s vintage styling was resoundly popular all over blog-land and may have even started the fake moustache revolution…it was certainly one of the first where I saw them used anyway.

♥ More vintage loving came my way with this ‘Vintage Snow’ wedding – complete with the bride looking every bit the glamorous lady in her circa 1947 Dior suit

♥ Still my favourite gown of the year..that multi-coloured tulle just sends me wild!

The bed shots in particular are like an actual dream sequence. Behold their beauty and ridiculous splendor!
