Punk Rockabilly Bridal Shoot

You are going to explode with excitement over this incredible bridal shoot…I did! Just brace yourselves for some serious awesome.

The shoot was put together by Denver based This Modern Life Photo to inspire brides to think outside the box with their bridal shoots…and boy have they done that!? The team were keen to tell me all about their vision:

“Brides, we can create a custom styled shoot like this one for you and your fiance or husband either before or after the wedding using the same creative team. Not into Rock and Roll styling? Not a problem. Our team will work with you to create your very own vision, romantic and dreamy?, vintagey and funky?, rustic natural? Whatever your heart desires, this creative team can create!”

Sissy Wish

I hadn’t planned on another blog post today but I couldn’t resist sharing these stunning images right this second! Siri is a singer/songwriter…and as it turns out, quite the model too. Just check out this stunning dress made for her by Stephanie James Couture for her upcoming tour.

I thought she needed something special for her 2009 US tour, so I went with the Fifi dress with a draped bodice and puffy, pleated sleeves…she loves 80’s fashions, so I did my best SJC with an 80’s spin!! It looked amazing on her. My friend and I went up to Hollywood to make sure it fit her and did a mini photoshoot while we were at it!!

Soft Hues

Don’t judge me ok? I should be in bed (for those of your following me on Twitter you will have no doubt seen the regular updates about my flu!) but I have a compulsion to blog that can not be stopped…

Lisa Rigby shot this outdoor wedding last week and I can’t get enough of the lovely pastel shades. I’m not normally one for subtlety (hello? my hair is pink) but the soft hues of her blue Stephanie James Couture dress coupled with her stunning bouquet and birdcage veil are undeniably gorgeous. The wedding ceremony actually took place at Mount Auburn Cemetery.

Anyone remember what my favourite ever wedding dress was? Well to refresh your memory (or maybe introduce you for the first time) it was this amazing multi-coloured, multi-layered crazy gorgeous ‘Lustful’ dress…and I just found out it was custom made by Stephanie James Couture. I just had to share this vital piece on information with you all as I have had so many emails ever since I posted that dress asking who made it..and now you know.

I also started browsing Stephanie’s blog and wowzer has this girl made some crazy-gorgeous dresses or what? Check out this ‘Audrey’ dress as worn by Tiffany on her wedding day.
