When Fox & Freddy (seriously, how rock n roll can you get!?) got married they felt their photographs really didn’t represent who they really were. So 6 years down the line their friend and photographer Joy Wilson offered to do a super cool fake wedding shoot for them so they could have all the funk they deserved! Joy even went so far as to head off to a fabric store and fashion Fox’s ridiculously gorgeous dress using a plethora of stunningly coloured tulle’s and a lot of safety pins – she also made the one of a kind bouquet…multi talented you might say!
These are spectacular…and oh my God I want that dress!

Have I or have I not been sent some absolutely out-of-this-world-amazing weddings recently? I can’t get over how many rock n roll weddings and photographers are out there…I feel so lucky!
This one winged it’s way from Ananda Lima:
Lela and Bubs got married in Central park at the Shakespeare garden. The park looked gorgeous (early Spring) and, since the ceremony happened in the early evening, they had the park pretty much to themselves. They were a little late and missed their officiant! This turned out not to be much of a problem, as their friend ended up officiating the ceremony for them. Everyone thought it was much better that way because the ceremony was very genuine and personal. After the ceremony, the couple and friend headed to the Bubble lounge for a few celebratory drinks. Everyone had a blast. (Lela is a true RocknRoll Bride: she sand along with Bub’s in the group “Bubba the handsome”).
Thanks Ananda – I love this gorgeous couple!
Wow. This has got to be one of my favourite DIY/handmade weddings ever…the Bride even made her dress! What a gorgeous, homely, hilarious, personal and rustic feel this beautiful barn wedding has. I have never seen so many genuinely happy people. It makes me smile.
OK so I went crazy with the amount of photographs I’m adding to this post – but you know, I was actually kinda restrained! Click here for more, including all the preparations…
Thanks Bertie (as always!) Edit: Remember this engagement shoot? Well I’ve just realised it’s their wedding..no wonder it’s so amazing. This two are too stylish for words.

I’m pretty convinced that Tim Melideo must be some kind of superman or something. Clearly unsatisfied with being a photographer extraordinaire and a gorgeous model (in the same shoot!) but he only had to go and do it twice!
Any more you’d care to share Tim!? ps where is your fiance’s dress from, I love it more than life itself…

I thought you might enjoy the tattooed pin up styling of this wedding party, sent in my Jenn of Blondeshot Creative (I featured her own ‘vintage vacation’ style engagement shoot a while back too)

This beautiful, intimate wedding really does show that ‘All You Need is Love’ (dada dada daaaaa!) It’s simple, it’s personal, it’s gorgeous.
From the photographer, Maureen Ford
These Brooklyn Brides have been together for over 7 years and came to Boston, MA to get married because it is not yet legal in their home state. I photographed them the day before their wedding while they applied for their marriage license at Boston City Hall and also their actual wedding day. They wanted a small, intimate ceremony with only immediate family, but one of the bride’s mother’s wanted to surprise them with a real wedding party and invited over 30 friends from across the country to come and celebrate. The girls were super surprised when all their “guests” were revealed behind a curtain, champagne was popped and heartfelt speeches were given. They were then married in a beautiful candlelit room over looking the city and each one had walked down the aisle with their dad while John Lennon’s Imagine softly played in the background. A cocktail/dinner party followed with more champagne, speeches and celebrating!
