Our little country continues to astound me this week with Kate & Seb’s Sussex wedding rocking it’s way into by inbox today. Photographer Sarah described this wedding as “by far the funkiest I have ever shot” and therefore it’s perfecto for Rock n Roll Bride!
Even if I do say so myself, today’s posts are freakin’ awesome. You’ll see why…
First up Taylor & Dominique’s ridiculous – in the very best way – casual Californian wedding. The details make me swoon. Her 1950’s vintage dress and veil, their tattoos, the cute little owl cake toppers (made by Taylor’s Mum – Dominique’s Mum make the cake) the bridesmaid’s Betsey Johnson dresses – what’s not to love? This is one seriously smokin’ awesome and freakin’ cooool couple.
I know I get seemingly over excited with everything I blog, but when Rock n Roll Bride gets to bring you exclusive first shows of weddings like this can you blame me?!
Audra & Bryan’s wedding is modern, sexy, uber stylish and crazy full of love! The event took place at Me by Melia which was recently the home to the cast of The Real World. Andra looks stunning in her cute dress which she got from Nordstroms.
Enjoy little ones…
Allison & Gabe’s wedding day started like every other – excitable, elegant, stylish and full of lurrrrve – then night fell and the chaos and fun of rock star proportions ensued! I love how the couple’s attire matches their mood – beginning of the day – excited, demure and classy (I adore Allison’s simple dress which she got on sale in Bloomingdale’s), end of the night – ruffled and rocking the hell out (and again I adore Allison’s dress – which she actually made herself – she bought a basic tutu from Etsy but the rest was all her own work!) In fact it wasn’t just the bride who changed – the whole wedding party got changed (the women from pastels into black ruffles – again make by the bride from tutu’s found on Etsy – and the men into dinner suits) for the massive party at the end of the night!
A change of plans didn’t seem to hinder Amanda & Jim’s vintage Vegas photo shoot. They originally planned to have their shoot at the Neon Graveyard (where the old Vegas neon signs go to retire) but due to construction work they had to rethink their ideas. Instead they opted for a whistle-stop tour of the city, stopping at many of the historic, iconic and hilarious (silly sunglasses stand!) sites to take some snaps.
I’m pretty sure none of the adjectives flying around my head as I look at these images can do justice to this ridiculously, spectacularly, awesomely, fantastically, edgy and wicked shoot!
Alma & David got married in New Orleans and had a cowboys & indians style wedding! The pair actually acted as models in a workshop for 25 photographers who want to learn new techniques and to photograph a couple as cool as they are.
