Alexandr and Ekaterina’s wedding took place in their hometown of Penza in Russia. They wanted their day to be just like a fairytale.
“We wanted a no-frills wedding”, wrote the bride. “Something light and summery. We wanted our guests to feel like they were about to go on holiday! Our theme was a mix of old school tattoos, wings, roses, birds and feathers. We were also influenced by summer, nature, freedom… what could be better?”
The ceremony was held in the woods. They set up the chairs, and the red rose and feather ceremony backdrop and then carpeted the aisle with pure white feathers. AMAZING!
I found Olya & Denis’ wonderful anniversary shoot, taken by Russian photographer Zaporozhets Sergey and knew I had to feature it. I know someone is going to fall in love with this girl’s acid bright neon and purple Asya Zhukova dress and her fab homemade birdcage-style-veil. This shoot looks like an utter blast!
Edit: Be sure to check out their wedding video after the jump – it’s awesome!
This darling wedding day shoot makes me all happy and smiley (even through my hangover gah!) Russian photographer Nelly Suleymanova has a real knack for capturing her clients at their most beautiful…and hello, white lace tights? – Yeah amazing!
Ok so I was going to attempt to wait until mid nest week for the blogging of these little beauties but hell, I’m waaay too impatient. Ermm…hello my mind is officially blown.

I really need to be lying down with some honey and lemon and watching trash on tv as I’m sick…grr I don’t do well when I get ill – boredom is not my Forté. I just had to drop by and share a few little images from this Russian engagement session entitled ‘Sunset Love Story.’ Totally beautiful huh? It’s hard to choose, but I think the ‘red heart lollypop’ one has got to be my favourite. Too gorgeous!
The photographer, Katja Mukhina, will actually be touring the states in October/November of this year and would love to meet and photograph some rock n roll couples. Drop her an email if you’re game!
