Purple Rain

Featuring UK weddings makes me happy. Not only because I know being a British blogger makes me stand out from the crowd, but because it makes me so happy that us Brits are finally catching up to our American friends in the style stakes! Therefore to celebrate I’m going to blog not one, but two awesome UK weddings today (and a little bit of California dreamin’ at the end of the day - sorry I can’t resist it.)

I’m kicking off with a wedding that’s not only fabulously unique but the bride is in a purple dress! It was actually an Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dress but certainly did the job as a glamorous and unique bridal outfit.

Yummy-licious

My friend Kelty has done it again. Is it possible for one photographer (and her sister, Hannah the beautiful model) to be so crazily yummy-licious?!

Bicycles & Flowers

Liz & Pete’s blissful backyard wedding was fit to bursting with happiness and joy. Can’t you tell that from just these images alone? Beautiful details and quirky ideas made this relaxed day very special indeed. Be sure to also watch their super 8 video (after the jump) which will really bring it all to life!

Grand & Unusual

Happy Monday my lovelies. Being away from my computer for 2 days means I have a hell of a lot of stuff to now catch up on (good for you!) including announcing the finalists for the Love Me Do Photography contest – check back later today to check them out and vote for your favourites to win!

Starting off the week in style is this stunning red haired bride. The shoot took place in a funeral home of all places (her father works there) but the setting certainly made for a rather grand and unusual backdrop. Yummy indeed.

Childhood Sweethearts

I have been looking forward to seeing Hannah & Alex’s wedding ever since I saw their school yard engagements and the bridal shoot to be used for their stag/hen/bachelor/ette parties invites. I first spoke to Hannah about 6 months ago when she forwarded me some of the work of her sister and photographer, Kelty and I have been nuts about it every since.  I have been lucky enough to become good online friends with Kelty so I was over the moon when she sent me a sneak peek of the wedding photographs after the day.
