Please forgive me procrastination as I bring to you this random but overtly lovely post all about my favourite prop – the humble balloon! I should be doing some proper writing right now (deadline booo!) but I got all distracted by all this rubbered and brightly coloured goodness whilst on my internet travels today.

I have to apologise that my posting has been a little on the slim side this weekend. I have given myself a rare little rest, spending some time with my hubby and generally being a little bit wifey (we even went to Ikea and I’ve just bought myself a Holga camera – these things are exciting in my world.)
But don’t despair dear reader, I will be back with avengence next week and to keep you tied until then, here’s a little sneaky peak of what’s to come.

**Guest Blogging Update**
Not only am I now writing for Savvy Scoop, but Steve at the brand spanking new Bridal Soup also asked me if I’d like to contribute to their site. Now as you probably already know, I do love a good old ramble about all things wedding, so I would have been rather foolish to turn himdown. Plus the site is a UK based site - I almost squealed with delight!
After reading so many of your survey responses saying you’d like to know more about me, the girl behind the blog, I suggested to Steve that I write a kind of ‘how to guide’ for the Bridal Soup launch - i.e. how to plan a Rock n Roll wedding…but with your own personal flair (obviously!)
Every week I will be writing a new article, telling the story of our wedding with a few tips & tricks thrown in that I’ve gathered along the way. I do hope you’ll come see me over there, and will enjoy seeing an ever so slightly different side to Rock ‘n Roll Bride.

I need to apologise for the lack of posts today. I have had a mortifyingly long, tiring and busy day (just to give you an idea, I left my house at 6.45am this morning and have just got back now, at 10.10pm – granted the last 3 hours of that was a lengthy and gossipy dinner with a friend, but I still count it an ‘on the go’ and therefore unable to post.)
In my absence why now take this opportunity to peruse or reacquaint yourself with some of the old posts..there are some great weddings that I posted ages ago which, if you haven’t seen,certainly deserve a look. At the bottom this main page is a search box, just type in what you fancy seeing and hopefully some wedding joy will pop up – if not have a clicky on the tag cloud.
