Under the Spotlight – Shan’s Photography

I’ve got yet another amazing new photographer to share with you today. Shan from Shan’s Photography is making some serious waves throughout the UK’s wedding market. Based in the Isle of Man, Shan likes nothing better than shooting beautiful but off-the-wall weddings all over the country (and beyond) so she’s certainly one to watch for 2010. Alrighty then – over to the good stuff…

Who are you and what do you do?
I am Shan Fisher, a photographer. I specialise in wedding photography – I’m really passionate about photography and I absolutely love my job! I founded Shan’s Photography in June 2007.

Where are you based and what cities/countries are you available to work in?
The beautiful Isle of Man is my base, central to the UK. Although I am a pretty new photographer, I have already had great experiences shooting a wedding in Germany and various parts of the UK. I’m happy to travel all over the country and abroad for photography work.

Under the Spotlight – Shelly Love Photography

I’m over the moon to be able to introduce you to yet another amazing photographer this week. This time it’s Arizona based photographer Michelle Love-Myers of Shelly Love Photography. Some of my long-term readers will be well aware of Michelle’s work as I’ve featured her a number of times before, but to many of you she may be a relatively new talent. However I guarantee you’re going to love her raw, edgy and seriously kick ass attitude and imagery.

I’m Michelle Love-Myers and I’m a fun, relaxed wedding photographer.

Where are you based and what cities/countries are you available to for work in?

I’m based out of Phoenix, AZ but I’m available for travel anywhere in the world.

Under the Spotlight – Rosie Parsons

I love sharing the work of photographers and wedding vendors that not only really really rock, but who I definitely think you need to use for your own wedding! Rosie Parsons not only fits into this category but is someone I consider one of the best friends I’ve made since starting Rock n Roll Bride! Not only is she kicking some serious ass in the UK wedding world at the moment (she was featured in the same issue of Cosmopolitan Bride as me this month – with two of her weddings being used and with her taking part in a feature about how to love the camera) but she was also the genius eye behind one of my favourite ever photo shoots (so much so I use one of the images as my profile picture everywhere!)

Anyway, enough gushing, let’s get on with the interview shall we!?

Who are you and what do you do?

I’m Rosie Parsons and I’m a wedding photographer who loves to shoot in a relaxed, creative and unobtrusive style.

Where are you based and what cities/countries are you available to for work in?

We’ve just moved South Westerly from Bristol and are now based near Exeter in Devon – however I do get booked for weddings all over the country and abroad. Last year I photographed one wedding up in Edinburgh shortly followed by a week long trip to shoot a destination wedding in Lake Garda which were both lovely! I don’t charge travel costs as long as the wedding is in the UK, and if it’s abroad I’m happy to come as long as travel costs and accommodation are covered!

Benj & Maddie

Remember this gorgeous couple and their too cool for words engagement session? Well they only went and tied the knot already! I am dying to share their wedding pictures (I will as soon as I get them) as with Benj being a photographer himself it was obvious that they would be awesome. But for now we can all enjoy their stunning day after session with Sean Flanigan.
