Katy and Drew’s Personal Touches

Katy and Drew got married on the 16th of August this year in a Philidephia art gallery. They we also married in a local park by one of their friends.
Katy used Etsy to source many items at cost effective prices including these gorgous bridesmaid headpieces. (sorry I don’t know the actual seller boo)

Green With Envy

This wedding has been featured elsewhere but I couldn’t not post – it’s too gorgeous!
I am in love with the colours they chose – and I have a bit of an obsession with that green mac eyeliner! (I have it plus 3 other colours!)

And to top it all off…gorgeous Bridesmaids and dresses – regular readers will know I’m all about the mis-matching Bridesmaid dresses!

What a stunning couple (and what impecable taste!)

Great Gatsby Rock ‘n Rollers

Yey! Noa from FeatherLove Weddings has sent me her most Rock and Rolly wedding for me to feature, and it’s a beauty!

This is the wedding of Julia and Dusty – regulars on the music scene in San Diego…so the perfect candidates for a Rock ‘n Roll Wedding right?
Lady Dottie and the Diamonds (a very popular blues rock band in San Diego) played, the Groom is a musician and about half the guests were in some sort of band…perfecto!

The tables were labeled by albums – some of the Bride & Groom’s classic favorites like Patti Smith, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton (questionable!) Cream etc. The photographer, Noa, also did some very “great gatsby” vintagey type photos, and also did a few with her Holga Camera too (I just love the style of these don’t you!?)

Polaroid It

Don’t you just love the retro-but-awesome medium of Polaroid? They just make me want to get all creative and snappy!

I also flippin’ love the felt flowers by Princess Lasertron. I have seen these flowers in a number of Rock ‘n Roll Weddings recently…maybe they are the new fake moustaches?
