New York photographer Aga of Aga Images has always been one of my favourites. Not only is she one of the sweetest, loveliest gals on the internet but she never fails to blow me away with her darling images…don’t get me wrong though, this ain’t no sissy photography, in fact Karin & John’s vintage snow day after session is RAD! I am crazy about this dress and, of course, Karin’s awesome tattoos. OMG I have to get myself to the tattoo parlour stat!
Thursday Treats is my absolute favourite post to put together and as I write this a few days early (yes I love it that much) am sat here with two teeny kitties snoozing on my desk! Oh yes, the Williams’ have kitteeeeens! I am SO FRIGGIN’ excited. They are Maine Coons so are going to be ginormous but right now let’s enjoy the cute. Let me introduce, Rachel – I’m ever so beautiful but still a little shy – Williams and Henry - I like to explore everything & the other day I nearly climbed up the chimney - Williams

Okey doke, on with the rest of this week’s goodness…and yes I think you’re right, Thursday Treats is getting longer and longer every week. I guess you can never have too much of a good thing!
Canadian Dana and her British husband, Torsten got married in Stockholm on the day of an eclipse. Their perfect hippy chic/festival vibe wedding consisted of henna tattoos, and outside ceremony and hundreds of bright yellow sunflowers. You will LOVE these!
I’ve got a funny feeling you’re going to go just as crazy about these as I did. Words can not even describe really can they? Danny & Louise’s amazing alternative, British (oh yes this couple is English woooo) wedding was all about the style.
Louise’s stunning latex dress was made by Jane Doe Latex. This part certainly didn’t care about what was ‘expected’ of their wedding, not only are the pair clearly ones to play by the rules (Louise is a piercer and micro-dermal specialist and Danny is a tattooist. They are both heavily modded, both having split tongues, facial tattoos and multiple piercings) but the wedding meal after the ceremony was a trip to MacDonald’s eaten at their house! Their evening reception and buffet was held at at our local rock bar, Sanctuary and was fancy dress, hence the grooms rather fetching nurses outfit!
Seriously guys, put your eyes back in their sockets right now and enjoy!
With Christmas literally hours away (eeek) you’d be forgiven for thinking I’d be winding down for the year and blog land would slowly have become a lonely little place. Naaahh my darlings! I have found a bumper number of awesomeness to share with you, to round off your pre-Crimbo week with a BANG. This may actually be the biggest Thursday Treat ever. I’ll be talking a few days off for Christmas but will be back early next week as usual. The posts may come a bit for sparsely but I will certainly be here. I hope you enjoy perusing these little gems and I’ll see you on the other side. Happiieee Chrrrismas…
Neil & Hayley wed at The Rare Breeds animal farm, in Ashford Kent on the probally wettest day of the year! All was not lost however as not only to Hayley get to rock her bridal look with some wellies, but the laid back couple just took it in their stride.
Why hello December, you snuck up on us real fast didn’t you?! I’m not quite ready to get proper festive just yet, but here’s my usual conglomerate of candy sweetness to keep you going until I am.
♥ Shhh! An incognito New York Photographer is running a photo shoot contest. Incognito because they are keeping their identity a secret so not so influence the entries they receive. They say, In an effort to only attract the most creative, I have decided to remain anonymous. I do not want contestants going to my website for inspiration on what they think I may be looking for. I want them to be creative and original. I realize that this is unorthodox, but I truly believe this will enable me to find the type of contestants I seek.
I would love it if a Rock n Roll couple won this. Come on you can do it!
♥ Living TV are still on the look out for a Rock n Roll couple to take part in the next series of Four Weddings. If you’re in the UK and getting hitched between now and March then get in touch! For anyone who hasn’t seen the show before, here’s the info from the production team:
We are casting for the second series of “Four weddings” which see’s 4 brides attending each others’ weddings as guests and they will judge & score the day as a whole based on four categories, The Dress, The Food, The Venue and The Overall Experience. The scores are not disclosed amongst the other brides until after all the weddings when it will be revealed whose wedding has been judged the best! The bride with the highest score at the end of the show will win a Luxury dream honeymoon. We would really love a real variety of weddings celebrating different cultures and personal interests. We would love to include a gothic wedding or burlesque wedding, however we’re open to all sorts of weddings. This wedding would need to be taking place in December, January or February.
♥ I love posting videos to make you happieee
You may have seen this – it’s all over the internet, but my husband showed it to me on Tuesday and I melted (and laughed!)
Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in the overly poofy, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy, or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find, well my friend you are in the right place! ♥
