I have to be honest, when I received an email from Evelyn Eslava asking if I wanted to share a photo shoot featuring vintage dresses and horses I wasn’t immediately blown away…I’m not the outdoors type should we say! But when she sent the images through yesterday, boy was I proven wrong? I am in love!
I fancied starting off the week with a bit of non-wedding gorgeousness. I’m sure you’ll forgive me when you lay your eyes on these little beauties. Pomegranates, a gorgeous orchard, a stunning model, a cute doggie and a generally retro feel make these worth the deviation.
I hope you are in a happy place today. If not Boopsie Daisy’s yummy carnival sugar land will surely but a smile on your face. Let me know if it worked. I am now beaming all over.
Oh hello beautiful colours and gorgeous models! Not bridal but I’m sure someone out there can and will be inspired by these.
So these aren’t bridal at all but I totally wish they were – please someone be inspired and do something like this for a bridal shoot, how kick ass would that be?!
The model’s hat, necklace and dress are all from Frocky Jack Morgan. Store owner, Julia Barbee actually sells her reconstructed dresses to kick ass brides too, so who knows it looks like someone could rock this look for a bridal shoot after all!

This shoot by Kelly Moore kind of made my head hurt even more due to all the brightness but I love it too much not to post. Of course there is no relation to weddings at all within this shoot, but it’s so pretty it’s worth a mini deviation.

Rock n Roll Bride sponsor Michelle of Oeil Photography sent me an exclusive peek at her newest photographic creation. A lucid ballet of light, colour and fabulous fashion, these shots just make me want to dress up in a bright yellow ‘cage’ dress and get my pose on!
Models Rene, Lauren (who actually made the yellow cage) and Tara (of Trigger Happy Photo) seriously rocked this shoot – stepping away from any fancy frou frou weddingness in favour of playing along in their very own circus act of colour, experimentation and edgy fashion.
