How exactly am I supposed to find the world to accurately describe these images and do them justice? I’m not sure I’m up to the challenge. The gothic glamour, the sense of feeling you get from these is just..well…amazing. The images certainly do all the talking here. They tell their own story.
Photographer Annie told me: The idea for this shoot wasa real mix of rock n’ roll and art. We incorporated Tom Petty’s song, “Last Dance with Mary Jane” into a photo shoot with 2 agency models (Mirela Paraganglija, and Nima Nezhad) and a fantastic bridal gown designer. We shot it as though it was Mary Jane’s wedding day/last dance…as though it was her final send off.
Can you say ‘high fashion supermodels’??! Erica & Billy certainly fit the bill and I am so excited to share them with you today. Not only are their outfits awesome beyond belief (Erica’s fur coat is way too fabulous) but New York makes for the perfect edgy, backdrop to this shoot.
Remember when I told you green dresses were in?! Well that exact thing is what drew me to this amazing photo shoot at Clise Mansion in Seattle. The models brought their own clothes and the girl in the green gown actually found it in a vintage store in Portland. I love the misty, foggy and eerie setting of these.
Ooooh I’m pretty sure the internet has been oozing awesomeness just so I could include it all in my Thursday Treats this week! Behold this special bumper issue of tastiness – I couldn’t leave anything out. Here are some of this week’s yummiest morsels…
Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
