Toni & Richard had a gothic/burlesque inspired wedding at Prested Hall in Colchester in March of this year. “Our inspiration mainly comes from my admiration of burlesque and my unnerving love of Bettie Paige (who I have recently had tattooed on me)” Toni told me. ”Not being much of a girly girl and never one who ‘dreamt of their big day’, I didn’t actually know where to start after the proposal. I like wearing jeans, having a Mohawk and being covered in tattoos and wearing too much make up!”

Stand by for part three of the pink invasion…and this shot is amazing! Jade of Jade Rose Designs was eager to share with me some of her new, gorgeous, perfect-for-Rock-n-Roll-Brides designs and I was over the moon to receive them, especially when I say her gorgeous model’s (friend Erin) pinky/red hair! Based in Portland, Jade teamed with Bryan Rupp Photography to create a photo shoot to inspire Rock n Roll Brides everywhere.
Enjoy…

I was blown away by Carla & Neetling’s South African wedding, in particular the phenomenal DIY vintagey, rustic and natural details and her beautiful dress. Carla and her Mum did most of the wedding themselves and loved personalising all the details.
The wedding took place at Kleinevalleij, Wellington SA and Carla looked stunning in her Robyn Roberts dress, Ninon Louw shoes and awesome white lace tights!

Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
