Anna & AJ’s wedding certainly rocked pretty damn hard. They had a kick ass party at San Chez Bistro in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Although the day looked really classic and gorgeous, it certainly was edgy and unique in a lot of ways, which was a perfect reflection of who they are. Photographer Jill described Anna as a free spirit and who just kind of did things her own way, while still putting together a really classy celebration.
Who says your wedding has to have one theme?! What I love about Simon & Cherie’s day is while there are certainly traditional and classic elements to this wedding, it’s the funky and personal touches that make it really rock. The scooter complete with the ‘just tied the…’ sign, the bride’s purple flower in her hair and the groom’s fabulous suit and braces…and of course their beyond kick ass rings! The pair actually had other rings for their ‘real’ wedding rings but they used these for their ceremony…apparently the priest nearly had a heart attack when he saw them!
Vanessa & Matthew had a personal and private retro rockabilly ceremony on the 4th September. Vanessa was 4 months pregnant on their ceremony day but her Dolly Couture dress compliments her mini bump perfectly. Unusually however the couple held off having their reception until October and so I have been waiting since September to share the full set!
Liz & Pete’s blissful backyard wedding was fit to bursting with happiness and joy. Can’t you tell that from just these images alone? Beautiful details and quirky ideas made this relaxed day very special indeed. Be sure to also watch their super 8 video (after the jump) which will really bring it all to life!
I am super duper excited about this wedding/wedding day shoot (as you can probably tell because I’ve featured about 40 photographs!) I saw this wedding on one of my favourite non-wedding blogs Rockstar Diaries. The enviable gorgeous girl behind the site also produces her own hairpieces which is how I first got a glimpse of the gorgeousness. I immediately emailed the photographer and couple begging to be able to share their god damn crazy awesome wedding.

Jenn & Graham had these crazy portraits taken on their actual wedding day as they decided to set enough time on the day to get some amazing shots (that’s got to be every photographer’s dream right!?) I adore Jenn’s organic dress, it is just so stunning and of course it goes without saying that the cruisers, the Groom style (hot!) and the superhero cake topper are awesome!
This has got to be one of the coolest weddings ever, hence the million photographs I’ve posted alongside this!
