There is something a little bit spooky about this day after session and I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is…maybe it’s the dark lipstick vs the pale skin (very stylish don’t ya know!?) or maybe it’s the vast and slightly creepy abandoned location. Either way my inner goth freakin’ loves them!

Evan & Angela’s wedding was at the Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria, BC. They had an intimate event with just 20 or 30 guests within their own bridal penthouse suite with an antique/bird theme. They set up a typewriter to be used a vintage style guest book, birdcages around the room and old-time candy for goodie-bag favours. They are both photographers as well so there were antique cameras scattered about as well as lots of shots taken with Evan’s old Polaroid Land Camera.  Angela’s veil was handmade by an artist in Portland, OR and her dress was designed by local Seattle designer Chrissy Wai-Ching. It’s a pretty damn amazing dress huh?

I’m pretty sure that Gwen & Joel are secretly models because no regular couple are this adorably photogenic right? I can’t really say what it is I love about these – because it’s everything!
Thanks to the wonderful Lizelle for sharing these with me

It may be a virtue, but patience certainly isn’t something I have.  Especially when it comes to sharing images like these ones. I was going to wait a little while to blog these, but it turns out I literally have no self control and I couldn’t hold off any longer. I’m pretty sure you’ll understand why…
Eeek so gorgeous!

“More More More!” I hear you cry…Well who am I to stand in the way of gorgeousness?
Kelty of Steep Street (who I have a total girl crush on by the way) send these to me and Eeeek! aren’t they stunning? Kendra & Chris were up for anything for their engagement shoot and so Kelty took them on a magical mystical tour -Â from a spooky tree in Golden Gate Park to an adorable picnic location and a stunning wide open spaces style shoot.
Thanks, as always, to the gorgeous Kelty for sharing her amazing work! I am aleady looking forward to posting her next – super exciting – wedding…stay tuned for all the info!

With a pair as passionate about music as these guys, coupled with the fact that they met at a park, what better place to have their engagement shoot than at a picnic and to have it featured on Rock n Roll Bride!?
I am well aware that every single couple I feature is adorable, but Emma & Paul?…there really is no other way to describe them!
Thanks to Ashlee Nicole for sending in this web exclusive photo session!
I don’t think Caroline Tran has ever taken a photograph I don’t love…but surely it can’t be a bad thing that I feel the need to post every single one?! Come on though, isn’t that sunset shot one of the most amazing you’ve ever seen!?

No Monday morning blues here thank you very much. I love the beginning of the week because my inbox is always fit to bursting with plenty of new gorgeousness from over the weekend to post!

These are totally non-wedding related but there was no way I couldn’t share them. I am a bona fide cat lover, but oh my these photographs made me laugh so much! You need to click on each image and see them in full effect, especially the first one – check out the dogs expression in the last pose..hilaaarious! Just look at these and have a little chuckle why don’t ya?

Michael and Juniper had such an adorable session right on East Bay. I am just loving the calming, contemplative, observation-style of these images. Whilst the whole colour and tone effect is super soothing and peaceful, the couple’s excitement is out in such abundance that it’s kinda infectious.
Thanks to the gorgeous Kelty for sharing the lurve!
