What’s not to love about this shoot? Alex & Kaori’s downtown LA engagement session was the perfect expression of who they are as a couple – lovers of LA and fashion (they are both designers.) I will never stop loving the Vivienne Westwood Lady Dragon shoes (I have them in yellow & black) and Alex’s fabulous red & white checked shirt and black bow tie combo. In fact this pair have got to be some serious fashion inspiration to at least a few of you!

Emma & Mattias’ urban & gritty engagement session in Hackney Wick (the East End of London) have inspired me no end. I not only love the rough ‘n ready, graffiti style shots (which are fast becoming a bit of a McNeil signature) but the wonderful heart shots send my heart a-flutter. I asked David how this images came about and he told me that as they were wondering down the street, looking for locations, they came across a warehouse where a Valentines night was being set up. They asked nicely if they would use their heart covered wall as a backdrop and the lovely people said yes. Aren’t the results fabulous?

When I received a sweet email from Lizeth & Rafter asking if I’d like to check out their engagement session I was shocked to discover that their super modest and a-a-amazingly talented photographer Brion Hopkins had never submitted any of his work to a blog before! Blog land has seriously been missing out! I am nuts about all the colour. Each photo looks like it has it’s own little rainbow shining down on it…yummy.

Well you lucky lucky things, have I got some adorable images to share with you today, starting with Jenna & Mike and their way-too-frickin’-cute park/picnic/vintage bike/doggie/awesome tattoo themed engagement session. The couple are getting married in September and the phenomenal Love Me Do Photography will be doing the photographic honours (I ♥  them!) but for now, be patient and enjoy these gorgeous engagements shot by Melissa Rae Kurzenski.
Thanks to Jenna & Mike for sending these to me and I can not wait to see your wedding in September!

With a pair as passionate about music as these guys, coupled with the fact that they met at a park, what better place to have their engagement shoot than at a picnic and to have it featured on Rock n Roll Bride!?
I am well aware that every single couple I feature is adorable, but Emma & Paul?…there really is no other way to describe them!
Thanks to Ashlee Nicole for sending in this web exclusive photo session!
This Finnish wedding shot by photographer extraordinaire, Marianne Taylor (I have had the pleasure of meeting and being photographed by her - oh yes I am a lucky ducky) literally hit me straight between the eyes. What I adore so much about Marianne’s work is how perfectly she captures atmosphere and the ambiance of a wedding. Her reportage work is seriously second to none.
Even though a Finnish wedding has slightly different traditions to that of a British or American one, there is really not much difference when it comes to all the details. I adore the Bride, Paivi’s red shoes and cuuute red, heart earrings for example, and the lovely ‘Paivi ♥ Miikka’ sign is too adorable for words.
I have to add this little snippet from her blog post as it really made me chuckle:
First of all, I want to make it clear that if anyone wants to hire me to shoot a wedding in Finland, specifically in the capital area, I’m all up for it – what with it being my native country and all. However, if anyone wants to hire me to shoot their wedding in Juuka, some 8 hour drive from Helsinki, they better make sure they’re someone I consider practically a brother. So when one of my oldest friends, Miikka, asked, of course I said yes.

I have very much been looking forward to sharing these rockabilly style, pin up-esque, damn super sexy boudoir shoots from Marin Kristine Photography. Anyone who rocks a pink or blue wig gets a thumbs up from me. These may make a great gift for your future Husband, but nobody can deny you’ll have just as much fun playing dress up!
Thanks to Marin for sharing these with me.

This wedding is so cute I can’t get over it! It is such a magical mystical ‘midsummer night’s dream’ type affair. I want to pretty much let the amazing photographs speak for themselves..but here are a few details I think you’ll like….
The Ring was made with Yellow Diamonds.Â
The Baby rabbit (in the ring photograph – so sweeeeet!) was someones pet that they had just got from the Ranch where the wedding was held.
Her dress was an amazing vintage style that mimicked the Albino Peacocks that roamed the Ranch.Â
They had two dogs that they included in the ceremony as ring bearers.
Cute cute cute cute cute…that is all!
