**Warning before we begin, some of these photos may not be safe for work, so don’t say I didn’t warn you. There are boobs…nice boobs…but boobs none the less…**

Most of you will have noticed that I don’t feature a whole load of boudoir on Rock n Roll Bride. It’s not that I don’t like it, but I guess my opinion is the same as that on engagement shoots – the photos are amazing for the people involved (show me a man who wouldn’t want to see his bride to be all sexified-up for him pre-wedding?) but for us non-involved people, once you’ve see one hot lady in sexy undies jumping around on a bed you’ve seen ‘em all…

Which is why I was chuffed to bits to receive Casey’s boudoir shoot from photographer Nikita Gross recently. Something a bit different and hella hella sexy hurrah!

The inspiration for the shoot was “a crazy, psychedelic, Rock n Roll, fantasy dream,” explained Nikita. “Inspired by 60′s and 70′s music and the feel of old album covers,  I wanted this shoot to be wild and hot. Casey was so awesome! She got my vision completely and dug out some amazing pieces from her own wardrobe…. the smoke is actually from left over smoke bombs I had from Independence day.”

“We started the day out in my car jamming The Doors which inspired a heated discussion about how hot Jim Morrison was. After about a 20 minute ride we arrived at the location I picked out for the shoot, a field of wild flowers in KY, my favorite place to be. Here we were, on a long gravel road in the middle of nowhere, clothes and cameras everywhere, Casey half naked and here come the police! You should have seen the look on their faces, priceless. Thanks to Casey’s power of seduction they were super cool about letting us stay and shoot. How could they say no, right?”

“It’s well known that Nashville’s cup runneth over with amazing musicians, songwriters, and performers,” wrote Kate of  Wedding 101, a wedding planning studio located in The Factory at Franklin. “We wanted to pay homage to a classic rockstar wedding. Our inspiration for this shoot, captured by the oh-so-talented Joe Hendricks Photography, began with a Flowers That Rock bouquet, made entirely of guitar picks and strings.”

The model for this shoot was Laura Veltz a singer/songwriter from Nashville. The rockstar theme is an obvious one, and works so well because every member of the team brought a unique piece of themselves and their business to create one overall cohesive look. The results are genuinely Rock n Roll!

From the beautiful dress to the vinyl record inspired invitations, and from the customized drumstick favours and the last minute addition of the jewel encrusted bouquet, it all works so well!

Be sure to check out the rad video too…

Nicole & Aaron eloped at the Santa Ana Courthouse and straight after had photographer Kristin Rogers on standby to shoot a ‘Just Married’ session with them and their adorable dog! I am seriously smitten with the cuteness of this whole session. The guitar shots just slay me!

Nicole wore a dress from Anthropologie and a custom made necklace from etsy seller Make Pie Not War. She also carried a fabric bouquet that matched Aaron’s buttonhole, both of which she’d made herself.

Musicians Diane & Mark wanted to do something different to the usual portrait session for their engagements. They brought along their beloved instruments and rocked the hell out! I’m also totally in love with the sheet music speech bubbles, an awesome Rock n Roll take on the usual props.

“Both of them are super involved with music and so it only seemed fit to incorporate that into their shoot,” photographer Candice told me. ”They had so much energy and you can tell they are madly in love. Hello Studios loves all our clients, especially the ones that love a little Rock n Roll.”

When David & Ruth started to think about the kind of theme they’d like for their engagement session and up coming wedding they realised that they wanted to do something that celebrated their life together and their upcoming marriage. ”We soon realised that like our life together and we pretty much wanted it all to reflect us – vintage, geek chic, retro, scifi, lowfi, folk, rock, disco, soul, town and country – with extra sprinkles please.”

The couple headed from Manchester to Hoarwithy, nestled in the Wye valley in Herefordshire for their engagement session with their photographers Nicola & Toni. “After having a wee yawn and a big stretch, we unpacked the dressing up trunk from the car and went to meet Nicola & Toni in a little wood on the bank of the river Wye.  The next two hours were spent having a laugh, dressing up, and playing in and around the gorgeous old wooden gypsy caravans.  It was a great way to meet Nicola & Toni who are doing the photos at the wedding and from this taster, we can’t wait!”

Well guys, I hope you like the full set! I’m so excited to share them with you and the rest of you Rock n Roll Brides.
