David & Camden’s wedding portraits made my day. You’ve got the love the combination and contrast between the uber modern setting of the ‘first look’ portraits and the indoor setting with that dramatic lighting, followed swiftly by the fun, retro and cool outdoor portraits with that awesome car! The pictures pretty much tell the whole story here…and I posted loads. It was actually hard to cut it down to just this many! Enjoy…
ps I love love love her vintage gloves!

Jill & Andrew knew they wanted an Art Deco style wedding as soon as they got engaged. Jill in particular really looked the part in her Priscilla of Boston dress, gorgeous custom birdcage veil from Unveiled Bridal Designs, stunning necklace by Ranjana Khan and customised J Crew shoes.
Jill told me all about their day:
Andrew and I both love the Art Deco period of art, fashion and music. From the first moment he proposed with an estate amethyst rose gold ring from the 1940s (Louisiana), we knew our wedding would be vintage inspired. We love black and ivory and used these colors to create our classic wedding story. Peacock feathers, swing music, and birdcage veils for the belles of the bride all set the stage for our soiree. We fell in love with Savannah because of the ornate iron work, stunning mansions, Southern & European charm and historic standing. Savannah itself represents both of our roots, myself being from Georgia, and Andrew from England. The Mansion provided the perfect backdrop. Both being foodies, we chose tiers of artisan cheese to create our wedding cake from Murray’s in New York City.

It doesn’t get more Rock n Roll perfect than this! Sommer & Dan’s wedding took place in an old mill is Somerset, New Jersey which is owned by Dan’s parents. The bride wore a 1950s prom dress from Ebay and snakeskin Kate Spade shoes. The groom rocked it in a custom suit with spiderweb lining and the bridesmaids looked the part in leopard print shoes. To top off the day, Bruce, the family pet rooster, served as ring bearer and apparently he did a great job!

Okey dokey I think this most be the last post for today because I appear to have gone a little overboard in the old blogging department plus I am secretly hoping the hubby will be taking me out on a date tonight!
These are an amazing set to round the day off with however as I got the cutest email accompanying the submission from Bride-to-be Soila Elena, who said:
Hello Kat
Let me start off by saying I’m your biggest blog stalker. I recently had my bridal session done with the coolest Angela D Photography- I told her what I wanted and showed her some of your posts and we went to work- I’ll be married soon and so I asked her not to post any with my face and she did a great job! I hope you like them -because I loved them and it was because of you, so thank you very much. In my daughter’s words i’m a “rediculous whore for your site”
Now come on, am I gonna really say no to that!?
See you all tomorrow you gorgeous creatures, and if you’re in California, be sure to enter the Tinywater Photography contest!
