Dena & Patrick’s wedding is certainly Rock n Roll to the max! I adore her cute shoes that show off her gorgeous foot tattoos (I’m so shallow) and that fabulous dress which was Madison by Priscilla of Boston “It had a belt and pockets!” Dana told me ” so I just HAD to have it! I even kept my iphone in my pocket and snapped photos with it during the day” The bridesmaids matched the yellow and grey theme by wearing various grey dresses from Alfred Angelo. The pair were married in the oldest catholic church in Philadelphia (Old St. Joseph’s) and had their reception at an old bank that was the Philadelphia Real World House which has now been turned into an art gallery called Trust House.

A cute couple, both us glasses and fabulous fashion with that enviable vintage-cool vibe (the green dress was Amanda’s grandmother’s) rocking it with records and just generally hanging out…I just …yeah, you know I love it.
Amanda & David hopped around different locations throughout the East Side of Milwaukee for their engagement shoot. All of the places they visited had significance to their first date, the first stop being a record store. On their first date, David bought a record “for himself,” which a few months later he gave to Amanda as a gift. She holds it in one of the photos. They also stopped at Comet Cafe, which was where they had lunch together for the first time. They even brought their own favourite coffee cups for the shoot.

Kim & Alex’s wedding hit me like a steam train of epicness when I laid eyes on it. I’m pretty sure my incessant ramblings can’t bring it justice so I think it’s only fair I hand over to Kim with all the fantastic details. As usual, I’ll be back with the eye candy.
“Originally our theme was “Halloween Town” from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas”, but as time went on, our theme evolved beyond Tim Burton to include other geeky things we love as a couple such as zombies, toys, film and… well… Halloween!
We were mostly inspired by films (predominantly Tim Burton and Zombie flicks) and our own Halloween experiences. We just looked at the little things we loved most and used that to make our wedding our own.”

This tattooed, converse bride and Doctor Who geek groom had a fabulous Halloween wedding in Southhampton, UK. The 1970′s inspired spiderweb bridesmaid dresses, the carousel, the Cadillac and the haunted house themed reception all made for a wedding to remember!

My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
