Chihye & Tom’s LA engagement speaks volumes of their love. From the simple moments between these two to the beautiful field full of ruby red heart balloons – what’s not to love about these?

It would appear that photographer Chrissy agrees with me “I don’t know if I have the words to accompany these photos. They truly speak for themselves. A couple so deeply and genuinely in love mixed with God’s beauty creates the most gorgeous moments. Chihye and Tom are another one of my kindful couples, our first meeting lasted hours over Sangria and Cuban food. The longer I do my job the more I believe in soulmates and magic.” (and I swear to God I wrote by ‘bit’ before I even read hers! It must be love…)

You may or may not have noticed, but it has been blog-central here at Rock n Roll Bride this week. I’ve been tweeting probably more than ever and replying to emails like a mad-woman! I’ve been sent so many awesome submissions that I haven’t known where to start! Therefore I’m going to post two features today instead of my usual one that I post on a weekend day. PLUS I’ve just concocted a new feature idea for my Sunday post so pop by tomorrow and see what I’m up to… Blogging-overdrive!

Allie & Patrick’s engagement was designed around the idea of balance and contrast.  They decided to go for two different looks “One, a very warm, vintage-y, backlit and natural look with texture and colors like yellows, browns and whites, and the second, very cool, city street, look with lots of blues, turquoise and blacks! photographer Rhys explained. “The idea and challenge was to shoot both looks similarly in terms of composition, but come out with two very different looking sessions, so that they could be displayed side by side allowing the contrasts to really play off of each other. Allie and Patrick loved it because it allowed them to show off all aspects of their personalities; both are incredibly stylish, but also love to just be ridiculous and have fun.”

Fields of Gold

I know you will love these so they really don’t need much introduction. When I saw a sneak peek on photographer Matt’s Twitter I was straight on it to secure the exclusive to share these with you. Angela & Jonard’s shoot took place at Griffith Park in LA and Angela had the most amazing little dresses made from an Arizona clothing designer Monique Martinez of OUMA Clothing.

Happy Easter everybody! As regular readers will know, the Rock n Roll Bride doesn’t stop blogging for anything so I thought I’d share one of my favourite topics today – pink haired gals! I hope you haven’t eaten too much of the sweet stuff because today I’m going to provide you with one serious sugar rush…

As a lover of all things pink (headed) I’m excited to share that all three of today’s posts feature gorgeous pink tresses! Kicking things off is the engagement session of Fred & Martine. She told us that she once went to a party wearing a wig this exact colour and she got so many compliments she decided to make it permanent!  It’s been pink ever since…
Her green plaid dress is an authentic Pendleton which she found for a steal at a vintage thrift store.

AMAZING!

Jeremy & Teylir wanted a day after session with a difference and what’s more unconventional than standing in front of a backdrop in your wedding attire? Well getting half naked and romping around a hotel room that’s what!? After this steamy scene the pair headed out to a beautiful park to get some shots to treasure forever.
