As I said on Thursday in my treats, I wanted to scan a few of my favourite real weddings and fashion shoots from the latest issue of Cosmopolitan Bride to share with you all. Not just because I’m mentioned in it (hehe) but also because Cosmo is by far the coolest, quirkiest and funkiest wedding magazine in the UK. It is in fact the only one I still buy. To everyone over the pond and beyond I hope you enjoy this unashamedly girlie delve into the world of the British bride.

This bride actually bought a prom dress to wear on her big day as she wanted a little black number! It fitted in perfectly with their venue (an estate) and it’s beautiful and old demeanor – it was full of antiques which suited the couple and their style perfectly. The reception was outside held and decorated with butterflies and moss which certainly made for the perfect backdrop for photographs.

Anna & Simon actually had two days to shoot their engagements with friend and photographer Steve Gerrard. They hit two locations which gave both sets a completely different look. First up was the quaint English town of Stratford-Upon-Avon (random fact of the day – where Shakesphere was born) and the second at The Custard Factory in Birmingham. I can’t help but particularly love the night time/painting with light shots though – v. cool!

When reader Kate sent me a sneak peak of her wedding a few month’s ago I knew it would be perfect Rock n Roll Bride material – especially after I laid eyes on her country garden style Candy Anthony dress (which perfectly matched their flower choices) and Christian Louboutin shoes (a steal and brilliant find from Ebay!)

If you’re having a English country garden themed wedding then what better way to celebrate your engagement than with a complete opposite in a Sex and the City style pre-wedding shoot!? I am loving all the wardrobe changes, especially that ruffly, ruched green dress – I have been swooning over it in Coast myself for the past few months!
