Spooky & Dark

Filipino photographer Jeffroger Kho sent me these stunning engagements which perfectly reflect his wild, crazy, and downright addictive’  style.

These are kinda spooky and dark but I seriously love them (yes even the creepy doll) Check it out…

The client Mark and Johanna are photographers and very artistic individuals.  You can check out their site here as well Happy Garaje Graphic Design and Illustration.  Their style is really dark, desaturated, and textured.  And I am happy that I was able to capture that and also reflect the clients style.

The outfits are from the clients own wardrobe.  They pretty much have everything already.  They collect a lot of old stuff as well so it quite reflects much of their personality.  I believe that this set is very Rock n Roll because it’s different, downright crazy, non-conventional, and most importantly it reflects much of the personality of the client and not just a random theme just for the sake of having a theme.

Thanks Jeffroger!

ps be sure to vote for your favourites to win the Tinywater photo shoot contest, but pleeeease only one vote per person, lets keep it fair people! (plus I can see if you’re multiple voting so there really is no point.)

Russian Photographer Catherine Alechinsky has send me a selection of her wonderfully surreal, fairytale-like images.  These remind me of the sort of images you’d find illustrating a fantasy story. I’m going start with this cute couple…I love her hairband, she reminds me of a sweet little doll or Alice in Wonderland or something. I have looked at a lot of Russian photographers work recently (more to come) and their style is just so different to anything you see if the UK or the US. It’s almost weird…gorgeously weird though!

Thanks to Catherine for sending me these and to reader Chanelle for drawing my attention to her work.
