Usually I’m not one to go nuts over the fairytale wedding scenario…I probably couldn’t think of anything worse than a horse drawn carriage (cold, exposed, windy = messed up hair do and even worse, what is if rained? + Horses = poo)
However I am ever so slightly drawn to Allison and James’ Disney fairytale wedding – yep they got married at The Disneyland Hotel …I think in my own super shallow way I love this because is actually done very very stylishly with some gorgeous details (despite the horses!)

What do I love more..the dress or the venue? I just can not decide they are both too damn fabulous! The Bride, MacKenzie is wearing a St. Pucci gown with a custom black lace waist trim (just check out the co-ordinated cake!)

This carnival themed wedding is just fabulous! I would love to go to a bash like this, it would be so fun..all the fun of the fair without the horrible chavvy kids hanging around! (that’s a British expression – look it up ’chav’ on wikipedia!)
The carnival was set up by Zebra Entertainments and looks like a absolute blast – certainly takes wedding entertainment to the next level!
The Bride, Courtney is a graphic designer and designed and planning everything (the invites are wicked) The couple did so much work themselves, Charles even built things to go with the decor including games, trash cans and candy floss posts.

I’ve just discovered Mark Brooke Photographers, whilst I love the style of the group and couple photos, what really stands out to me is the unique detail shots – in particular the dress, shoe and ring shots. Aren’t these amazing?

Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
