Do you remember Megan & Kevin’s ‘Oh so adorable’ engagement session that I posted last Autumn? Well when their photographer Erica heard that Megan was going to have a short wedding dress she couldn’t wait to do a bridal shoot with her too. They originally planned to have the session in a chocolate factory bur at the last minute decided to an historic firehouse in Springfield, Missouri. Megan put together and styled the shoot herself with a dress from Delia’s (which isn’t going to be her actual wedding day dress – she’s got another short dress to wear too though!) flowers that she put together herself, a cute birdcage veil from PinMeUpCouture on Etsy and Mootsie’s Tootsies shoes from Ebay which only cost her about $20!

I have so much love for Gretchen & Darby’s cute, retro, geek chic engagement sesh. Not only did the chalkboard/hearts location slay me, but their fashion choices are just so perfect…and they match each other in an oh-so-cute and not at all puke-worthy way. The super bright checked set, the crazy 70′s jumpers set and the lilac-y matching dress and tie set. Oh so adorable! I love love love them.

You are going to love Soumya & Anil’s photo shoot. Not only is Soumya wearing some of the most gorgeous dresses, like ever, but the backdrop and setting – in particular the way they are reflected in the water, is nothing short of spectacular. Anil is really into working on cars so they had to get that into the shoot too and the contrast between the two themes works perfectly.

Courtney’s ‘Give me Moore’ session is to. die. for. Who wouldn’t go crazy over that adorable short lace dress from a local boutique called Rodeo and the Bella Donna headpiece? The backdrop is also pretty crazy, pretty kooky, pretty chaotic and even a little bit gritty and dark…and I love it!
“Christina has a love for all things vintage.” photographer Krys told me when she sent over Christina & CW’s engagement session. ”She says, “if it looks old, I love it”, so we were on the same page with the idea of old buildings, rust, chipped bricks, and whatever else we could find in DeLand, FL where we had their engagement shoot. Christina and CW are definitely an amazing couple to work with. Not only were they down for anything I threw at them, they were amazing models as well (they also didn’t mind at all when I dropped an F-bomb or two). Christina wore a cute red swing dress with a sweet heart top and electric blue wedges (later some vintage white wedges with an ankle strap). Too cute. CW, or C-Dub as I have nicknamed him, wore a western shirt and cowboy boots. This shoot was inspired by The Notebook, the south, and turning an ugly setting into prettiness.”
