When I featured Nadia & Damien’s London engagement session back in January I just knew their wedding would be a beaut’ and these images sent over by the lovely Eliza Claire certainly haven’t disappointed.

The pair got married at The High Rocks Hotel in Tunbridge Wells which proved a pictureqesue venue with dramatic ‘high rocks’ outside. These acted as the perfect backdrop for some stunning portraits. Nadia looked every bit the glamorous bride in her Stephanie Allin dress which not only has a belt and lace over-lay but had pockets. Yes! stylish and quirky!

I have to say there is something about Danie & Ilene’s wonderful wedding that makes me totally and completely happy…I can see why Ilene wore ballet shoes – she must have been spinning around all day with joy! The wedding took place at the sunny South African venue of South Hill. Ilene wore a Robyn Roberts  dress with her ballet shoes and looked everybit the ballerina princess.

This fun and laid back, spring wedding was just sent over to me by Australian photographer Stephen Henry. I’ve featured one of his weddings before and I may be seeing a pattern of awesomeness emerging! Sophie & Joe in particular are Rock n Roll, super stylish and of course look like they’re having an utter blast with their friends and family. The wedding took place at Hillstone St Lucia, Brisbane. Sophie looks stunning in her floaty, grecian dress which she had made by a local dressmaker and based on a dress she saw in a British bridal magazine (I wish I knew which one!) The bridesmaids also had individual dresses made by the same dressmaker to suit each of them perfectly.

“We wanted something classic and romantic but also something that was young modern.” The couple told me. ”Old Hollywood glamour/ vintage tea- party was the theme we had in mind and Jodie from Wedding & Co helped make that happen. As it was also the first Saturday of Spring we wanted fresh English flowers to soften up the room and set the mood.”

Oh squeeeeal! I’m not sure I can say anything more intellectual about Luke & Charis’ wedding and Charis’ bridal shoot, in fact I think only ‘squeeeal’ will cover it. So. Much. Awesome!

“This couple was married in a barn at Sharon Rose Farm in Greenville SC”  photographer Anna told me “The bride is a hair stylist, the groom is a drummer – so the music and the style was fabulous and original. I thought what was so rock n roll about this wedding was that the bride made surprise stick-on tattoos to replicate her new husband’s favorite tattoo on his arm, and all the guests had a mini tattoos during the reception just like the groom!”

Charis wore a dress from David’s Bridal and she asked her bridesmaids to simply pick their own black dress.

When Charis and her bridesmaids walked into the venue someone said, “It looks like an anthropologie catalogue just walked in!” The ceremony and reception were held in a beautiful red renovated horse barn. It was such a nice mix of rustic farm, elegant chandeliers and vintage flare.  There were mason jars with wild flowers, and baskets of peanuts on cocktail tables as guests mingled and sipped lemonade before the entering the barn. An old typewriter was used as a to write notes to the bride and groom, and a sweet bird cage to put them in.

Just sit back and enjoy these – I know you will!
