Funfairs may have been ‘done’ in terms of what the cool kids say is ‘in’ but who gives a monkey’s about what they think? It’s the same with balloons, candy floss and even sun flair…pah I say to that! The funfair is the perfect backdrop for an engagement shoot – fun, colourful, playful and prop city! I want a photo shoot in at a fun fair in fact. Any offers?!
Racheal, who was the lucky winner of the Toccata bolero giveaway just sent me her adorable swimming pool/beach/picnic/Pimms engagement session with her hubby-to-be Gabe. I can not wait to see their wedding photographs in just 3 weeks time and that beeeautiful bolero will look absolutely stunning on this gorgeous girl!
Well people, hold on to your hats and prepare yourself for another bumper day of Rock n Roll goodness. Did something magical happen overnight or something? I have received a ridiculous number of amazing photo sessions and weddings this morning – I just hope I can bring them all to you soon!

I’m sure most of blog land will have seen and heard of The Langs before without even knowing it. Their engagements, wedding, portraits and anniversary shoot (all photographed by the uber talent that is Sloan Photographers) have certainly made the rounds and with huge justification. Yes. Wow.
So you can imaging my excitement and surprise to get an email from Stacie, one half of the duo to let me know that her and Geoff have ventured into wedding photography themselves and would I like to be the first blog to share some of their work…erm Hell to the YES I would. I predict big things for these guys. Mark my words, blog land will be all over these two within a matter of weeks.

It seems I will never tire of this scenario for an engagement shoot – it really shows the a fun side to any couple that just can’t help but make me smile – especially that ’slide’ shot – how much fun does that look?! Oh how I love it so…
Weddings like Hugo & Jenn’s are the reason I became obsessed with offbeat, alternative, unique and rock n roll weddings. With their roots firmly planted in the New York hardcore scene, this couple wanted a wedding nothing short of perfectly ‘them’.
