Oh yes! How flippin’ cool are these guys? With a background in music photography, Steve Gerrard always seems to attract the ultimate Rock n Roll couples and Rom & Will certainly aren’t an exception.
So cool it hurts.

OK so I feature a lot of weddings photographed by Emma Case…but the thing is, all her weddings and all her couples are so RAD that as soon as I see the photographs I’m like “Emma Emma Emma send these to meeeee!” You get me right?
The event I got so excited about this week was Kelly & John’s wedding. Their inspiration came from the traditional English village fete, ”where Nan brings an apple pie and auntie Brenda brings the coleslaw” Kelly explained. I love that!!
The couple wanted a laid back, casual, relaxed and informal wedding which they pulled off on a budget. “We had two things in mind when we planned our wedding” Kelly told me. “We would not spend silly money and we would do it our way. We wanted a relaxed, informal ‘village fete’ wedding with no formalities and in general, a big knees up! Practically everything was done on a budget but I think it makes you more creative anyway! I think having a wedding with a difference in England is hard work – finding the right people to work with and in particular, sticking to your guns, but it really is soooo worth it. Our wedding couldn’t have been ‘more us’ and it went beyond both our expectations – and the comments we’ve had about the day have been very touching. I just wish we could do it all again!”

I’ve got a second picnic-themed engagement session to share with you today, however you’ll forgive my repetition when you see these bad boys. Cupcakes + tattoos + bicycles + bunting + everything awesome you could want in one session = LOVE! Candace & Tyler are way.too.awesome. he even calls her ‘Cupcake’ AND she has the word tattooed on this inside of her fingers. Oh swoon swoon swoon… I can’t wait to see/blog their wedding. I might die with anticipation.
Phew…
Talking of cupcake tattoos, did I mention that I’m getting my sleeve (hopefully) finished on Thursday?! Bring it on baby…and yes, there are cupcakes on it!

Jessica & Karl got married in the city of Stockholm, Sweden, in the Södermalm region to be precise, which is apparently one of the coolest urban areas of the country. The wedding had a distinctly blue theme which perfectly reflected the countries nature. ”Blue is as Swedish as it gets with it being the dominant colour in the flag” photographers Cole & Jakob told me ”and a lot of that has to do with the importance of the ocean to the countries culture. Even the archipelago that Stockholm is built amongst is surrounded by the blue of the sea, and that colour was an underlying theme through the planing of this wedding.”
Jessica wore a dress by Design by Marja Collection with a beautiful handmade hairpiece by Percy Handmade and a flawless hair net made by Tied and Feathered. Karl wore a Western North Carolina tie from Me & Matilda which again matched their ‘something blue’ theme.

I’ve got a fairytale Chilean wedding to kick of this Easter Monday for you today. Last weekend Francisca & Juan Pablo got married at the gorgeous Fundo San Miguel in Colina, Chile. Francisca wore a pastel pink, 80s (in a good way!) style vintage Oscar de la Renta gown which she matched perfectly with a pair of shoes she’d had forever! Juan Pablo rocked a bow tie like any good Rock n Roll groom!

Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
