Do you remember this amazing White Orchid Bridal shoot I featured last July? Well the dream team – photographer Tara Kneiser of Dixie Pixel and Colleen of White Orchid Bridal Store have teamed up yet again to bring us this epic fusion of fantastic photography and lust-worthy vintage accessories.
What I love about Sonya & Toby’s Cotswold’s wedding was the moments photographer David Jenkins seemed to capture. Subtle, touching, intimate, hilarious…the images just jumped off the screen at me and I felt an instant affinity with the event. I could literally imagine being there.
Quite apart from the photography, the wedding was a simply darling English affair – the church looks elgeant (who says Rock n Roll Brides can’t get married in a chuch? Not me!) the venue looks sweet as hell and the details are fabulous. The bunting, the cupcakes, the flowers, the fairylights. I love it all!
There is going to be much love for this wild English wedding, because as soon as I saw it my heart flipped and I couldn’t wait to share! Not only because Micheal & Alice’s wedding was quirky, vintage and Rock n Roll cool, but because they are British too…yey for the UK giving the uber stylish yanks a run for their money!*
The couple chose The Hop Farm as their venue because, in their own words, “it had a certain britishness to it and being both born and bred in Kent we grew up with the iconic images of the oast houses and it just felt comforting and homely to have them as a back drop to the wedding.” They didn’t really have one theme per-say but they just came up with/borrowed ideas from many areas that inspired them. In fact the only stipulation they put throughout the whole of the process of planning their wedding was that they wanted to get as many people as they liked together to have a really good party, and the actual ceremony and marriage was just a small part of that.
This darling wedding day shoot makes me all happy and smiley (even through my hangover gah!) Russian photographer Nelly Suleymanova has a real knack for capturing her clients at their most beautiful…and hello, white lace tights? – Yeah amazing!
Speechless. Literally speechless. I couldn’t decide which of Julia Aleshia’s bridal fashion shoots I loved the most so I decided to share a whole bunch of them.
I wanted to share a few images of Caitlin on her wedding day as I think she looked every bit the simple vintage beauty.
We had an intimate wedding with the whole family bringing it together from the dress, the caterer and all the details in the house
for the reception. I chose the vintage look because it not only totally works with my own personal style, it is a classic look that will never grow old. I didn’t want to look back 20 years from now and say “What was I thinking?!” Even now if you look at pictures from the ’40’s and ’50’s, you can only say how beautiful and glamorous everyone and everything looked.
This is something I have never seen but I think there should be more of it..surfing brides!

This make me happy. The photos are of course stunning, with their neo-realism kinda feel – the stark white backdrop and her pale skin vs the dark gothic lipstick is just beautiful. But what I really love is the vintage feeling video – just taken on a cheap video camera. The effect is magical.
Teresa & Brian’s beautiful outdoor wedding is one worth stopping for. Be sure to check out all these gorgeous images in full, especially the adorable one of Teresa through Brian’s heart-shaped fingers. Aww.
I am completely loving her dress, their ring shot is making me crave neon coloured sweeties and all the portraits with the streaming light make me wanna get up and dance a little bit, how about you?
