You went totally nuts over the ‘And so we Danced’ photo shoot I shared from Elevenorchids Photography last week so it is my absolute pleasure to share some more of their work with you today.

This glorious shoot was set up for Michestyle, a young designer who loves to celebrate vintage styles and lines by adding a modern feel to them.  She takes pride in every detail and was on set to style and do the makeup, hair and to guide the model through the entire process.

1920’s Glamour Puss

This stunning vintage shoot was put together by Vicky Rowe ( Styling) of Vintage Teasets, Bella & Fifi and Floriture (flowers),  Clifton Cakes and photographer Rosie Parsons. Other shout outs needed for the fabulous hair and make up gals - Donna Owens, Sarah Brock & Becky Simpson.

One of the best things about this whole set has got to be the fabulous fashion huh? It looks so authentic and wonderfully unique. They used reproduction and actual vintage dresses supplied by Lindsay Fleming, Elizabeth Avey and Leluxe Clothing. The awesome feathered and diamante head pieces were supplied by Sheena Holland (the crochet wire knit pieces were supplied with the Lindsay Fleming dresses).and wait for it – original 1920’s Manolo Blahniks! Oh hell yes! Well done to everyone involved – truly a triumph.

Glamorous Art Deco

Jill & Andrew knew they wanted an Art Deco style wedding as soon as they got engaged. Jill in particular really looked the part in her Priscilla of Boston dress, gorgeous custom birdcage veil from Unveiled Bridal Designs, stunning necklace by Ranjana Khan and customised J Crew shoes.

Jill told me all about their day:
Andrew and I both love the Art Deco period of art, fashion and music. From the first moment he proposed with an estate amethyst rose gold ring from the 1940s (Louisiana), we knew our wedding would be vintage inspired. We love black and ivory and used these colors to create our classic wedding story. Peacock feathers, swing music, and birdcage veils for the belles of the bride all set the stage for our soiree. We fell in love with Savannah because of the ornate iron work, stunning mansions, Southern & European charm and historic standing. Savannah itself represents both of our roots, myself being from Georgia, and Andrew from England. The Mansion provided the perfect backdrop. Both being foodies, we chose tiers of artisan cheese to create our wedding cake from Murray’s in New York City.

Who couldn’t love the quirky, vintage, rustic, eco wedding of Amanda & Matt? I am particularly gaga about the wheat bouquet and boutonnieres and Amanda’s beautiful cameo bracelet. The pair wed at their home in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. They rented a tent and despite the torrential downpour most of the day, things worked out really well in there. Friend and caterer, Nikki Kleinberg, catered the wedding using mostly foods grown in the urban farm Amanda and Matt maintain adjacent to their backyard. These two are super into self sustaining, eco-friendly means to living in the city.

Maggie & Sean are having an Irish pub/rockabilly themed wedding next month so where better to do their engagement session than in an Irish pub with Maggie sporting some gorgeous rockabilly/vintage inspired accessories. Being half Irish myself I can’t wait to see this wedding. Sounds like it’s going to be awesome
