Hannah and Mike postponed their wedding by almost a year due to COVID, finally tying the knot on April 3rd 2021. Although they organised most of it last year so weren't totally sure how much they spent, they know they wanted to keep the day affordable, with their only big cost being entertainment - in fact it was most of the budget! The groom works in the wedding industry so was able to call in favours and have friends make the food and cake, they didn't bother with centrepieces or flowers and they asked their guests to bring their own drinks.Read more...

Nicole and Brandon are both huge music fans so they wanted to incorporate music into as many details of their wedding as possible. From the invitations which were record and cassette tape designs, to the flowers made from sheet music and even the centrepiece which were all instruments. The favours were guitar picks, magnets, buttons and stickers and were set up like a merch table and the music that played throughout and the reception was a combination of guest requests (which they asked on the RSVP cards) and their own favouritesRead more...

You've probably heard the saying “diamonds are a girl’s best friend”, but as a jeweller, I have to disagree, and so do a growing number of jewellery lovers. The traditional solitaire diamond is falling out of fancy with many modern couples. This is especially true among those who value a more ethical approach or who don’t feel the need to play by others’ rules.Read more...

In the world of weddings, where love is celebrated, a dark shadow lurks behind the veil. Bisexual erasure is prevalent but so often overlooked. At first glance, the wedding industry is getting so much better at being inclusive and diverse. Magazines, blogs and social media accounts show many love stories and cater to many preferences. However, bisexuals seem to be one of the groups who are so often forgotten or even purposefully excluded.Read more...
