I’m trying these new thing where I do all my writing in the mornings and schedule my posts throughout the day so that a) I don’t end up posting post after post after post and b) so that I actually have time to do other stuff instead of just blogging! However I’ve popped online this evening to reply to the plethora of emails that has built up over the last few hours and look…the ting is I literally could not wait until tomorrow to share these. Forgive me!
Unable to shoot her cousin’s wedding, Lauri of Zoom Photography decided to give Kaya & Jon a day after shoot to remember!
Kaya and Jon are a true meeting of the minds. She works in advertising and he in finance, living in their Chicago loft, mostly run by their pug Chloe and bulldog Sebastian. Jon’s passionate love of music is apparent from the moment you meet him, his inspired word choice, verbose nature and unsurpassed loyalty also make an immediate impression. Kaya’s extroverted and vivacious qualities, coupled with her caring and generous nature make her noticeably standout in a room full of loud and boisterous people.
I can not put into words how blown away I have been with the response to the Love Me Do Photography contest. In just a week we had 25,557 votes! Is that ridiculous or is that ridiculous!? I have been blown away by it. Thank you so so much everyone…
So without further a do the winners are (drumroll please…)
Gaelyn & John
This was by far the closest contest I have ever hosted, it was literally anybody’s game all week.
♥ Again, thank you to everybody who took the time to come and vote ♥
(ps don’t forget tomorrow is the last day for you to enter the Toccata ruffled bolero contest)
As soon as I posted a sneak peek of this wedding and that dress last week you went crazy for it..I knew you would! So it is with great pleasure that I bring you the full set of images from this amazing rainbow wedding. The event took place on a beach in Australia and the bride…well…I don’t think words can justify that dress!
The whole wedding party and guests got right into the swing of it, all dressing up in suitably bright colours. Isn’t the result just fantastic!?
Edit: OMG Anya the bride just emailed me the link to her website and blog. Hell you have to shoot over there to see their day after shoot! it’s just as awesome…She has also posts mucho details about their day.
Another beauty from Jeffroger Kho in The Phillipines. Is this country just full of model-esque couples (and locations!) or what!?

I’ve featured Indian weddings before, mainly because I am crazy-obsessed with bright colours and who does it better?! However with this wedding I am infatuated with a different side – the personal touches, the uncomplicated feeling and the desaturated colours used to photograph all that beautiful henna.
