I love a cute prom dress style wedding dress, and I’m starting to adore these Princess Lasertron flower creations! I first discovered them when I saw the Princesses own wedding (real name Megan Hunt) – which reminds me I must blog about it – its a fabulous spectacular spectacular!
This is the epitome of a Rock ‘n Roll Wedding (that’s the second time I’ve used the word epitome today..oops make that three!)
The photographer, Josh McCullock said of this fabulous wedding..
“Cody and Jenn both love art and music, good food and drink and having a great time with their friends and family…and thats exactly what their wedding day was! I remember in our consultation when Jenn tried to explain her vision to me, half way through I said ” I’ll be there, even if I’m not the photographer!”
It was the most fun I’ve had in a looong time.So here’s how it worked… They invited all their guests to a concert, told them to wear their concert t-shirts and come ready to have a good time. Grandpa Griffith and Lisa Curlbrought the thunder with their hilarious musical stylings. They tied the knot right in the middle of the concert. There was even a feature song written just for them performed by Lisa Curl and GG lead singer Aaron Copeland. In the true sense of celebration, the ceremony included a free for all dance time where guests were invited up to the stage to cut loose. “
Oh and I am just a little bit in love with the Granny’s rocking out in their Dixie Chicks T-shirts!
I’m finding it difficult to describe what I want to write these pictures. They’re just so breathtaking, simple, classy and serene yet with a hint of rock ‘n roll! The Bride is a gorgeous epitomization of loveliness – I’m ever so slightly transfixed by her! I just love these shots by Azuree Witala..beautiful
Also at our wedding was my good friend David Mcneil – at that time just toying with the idea of getting into wedding photography…he took some pretty wicked snaps too, in a totally different style to our official wedding photographers. It was awesome to see the wedding in two completely different ways. Here are a select few of his amazing pictures..
The time has come..I’m going to start the huge job of attempting to rebuild the old blog after my genuis skillz at deleted the blogspot site. The posts will no doubt be briefer than before, as not only has the tempo and direction of Rock n Roll Bride moved on since these old posts but also it’s going to take hella long time – just the best of the best will make the new and improved Rock n Roll Bride!
Let’s start with the stuff surrounding our own wedding, back in April 2008 – shall I re-do the wedding report I wrote? If you want it I can re-post it as I managed to recover a lot of the text on the old blog. But right now I’ll just begin with some of our favourite photographs from the day taken by our fabulous wedding photographers English Rose Weddings.
Argh I can’t remember why I saved these pictures or but the watermark tells me I got them from Tinywater Photography…thing is I saved them before I deleted the old blog and didn’t get the chance to post them…they are just too damn fab not to right?
If anyone can shed any light I will add more info..I just love them though. Gorgeous.
