I am getting married at Sheffield Town Hall on the 2nd September 2017, then going on to a warehouse space for the reception.
My ideal dress will cover my unfinished tattoos on my back and show off the rest of them on my arms! It would be floor length, with something about it that will make me want to wear it in secret after the wedding on a Friday night whilst watching Friends. <3

  2. Cate S

I’m just a girl, standing in front of a laptop, asking it to convey the imaginary picture of my perfect, fairytale dress.. (No pressure eh laptop?!) But then again, as Dumbeldore said “Words are our most inexhaustible source of magic!” so here goes!
I think my dream dress, is the dress that is capable of making me feel beautiful, confident and strong. In my minds eye, the dress would look like an intoxicating blend of beaded detail and ivory lace, a happy union between the dress Lily-James-wore-to-premier-Cinderella-in-Los-Angeles, a nod to vintage bygone days and Grace Kelly’s lace sleeves.. But in my heart, my dream dress looks like a wonderful, once in a lifetime chance, to escape into a little love bubble with my lobster and sashay away the evening with oodles of sass and my best girls. We are getting married in September 2018, in an 18th century badass Manor House. X

  3. Nicola Tate

Hey! I am getting married at some point next year, the venue search is very much underway! My dream dress is basically a Jenny Peckham, lots of beading and deco glamour.

  4. victoria pearson

I’m getting married 27th July 2018 at The Laura Ashley Belsfield Hotel. My dress would be full on fairy tale ( it was going to be fitted with a lace top in my head but it turns out my body is shaped like a bell , small top big bottom ).The ball gown shape suits me a lot more. It’s been 15 years in the planning ,I can’t wait!

  5. Rhona O'Sullivan

My wedding will be in 2018, and probably at Berlin Zoo (finalising the details now) in the Hippo House!
My dream wedding dress would be non-traditional. It might even be a bridesmaid dress so I have the colours, then accessorised with colours to tie in with my partner’s tartan. Or maybe greens and purples to match my engagement ring

  6. Carolanne

We are trying to decide on our wedding date and venue, we have some ideas. What we do know it will be in summer 2018 in Scotland we want a low key wedding with personal touches that mean something to ourselves and to have a beautiful day with our loved ones. My dream dress will be vintage look Ivory lace with low cut back and lace sleeves ❤️ Would love to win.

  7. Natasha

We are getting married on 22nd June 2018 in a church local to my hometown, followed by a reception at the Riding School at Calke Abbey. It will be a colourful, festival-themed wedding with live bands and food trucks. My dream dress would be an understated lace number, floor length with capped sleeves and a low back 🙂

  8. Natalie Jones

My fiancé and I are getting married on May 2019 in Bali and my dream dress would a floaty chiffon skirt and some lace on the bodice/straps… perhaps a little sparkle too 🙂

  9. SJ

I am currently planning my wedding for 2018. Small town church ceremony followed by small town hall reception which is 100% all about the food and drink. Chilled out live music. No speeches, No Cake Cutting, No first dance, No seating plan. Just friends, family and a relaxed enjoyable day (a good photographer to capture if all)

I am doing it all on a very tight budget and it has taken us 12 years, 2 kids and building our own home without getting ourself into life controlling debt. Which is meant a wedding wasn’t a priority.

I would love a stylish two price casual dress (skirt and top). Not traditional but something to make me feel great. At the moment I am searching for this on second hand sites but not finding it.

Sorry I am not mentioning location. We are keeping it a secrete until only a few months before. We don’t want to be influenced to change our choices or have all the family politics when we don’t please everyone. So for now it’s shhhh.

  10. Janet Palmer

I’m marrying my best friend on the 3rd of February 2018 exactly 9 years after we meet. And I can not wait its the icing on a very yummy cake!
My perfect dress would have the real wow factor, I rarely wear anything glamorous so I’d really like to make everyones jaw drop. Some glitz and sparkle, floor length with a bardot neckline please

  11. Kim Simmonds

I would like a blue wedding dress, odd I know! I’d be looking at making it myself but if there is something here that would be able to accommodate my unusual taste then I’d love to win.

  12. Laura Norris

Hi me and Girl have just booked our Wedding venue at The Olde Bell in Hurley Berkshire booked to tie the knot on the 27th May 2018. Im hoping to find a nice white elegant dress with a slightly Boho country chic feel to it with lace over the shoulder sleeves and a minimal train. Our wedding is being held in a 13th century barn with different variations of pastel colours ie pink blue lilac green lemon coral for each of our bridesmaids. Any ideas which you feel would match this description I would be most grateful to hear from you.

  14. Nick Dawson

Bohemian New York 1960s style , stepping out into Washington Square park, is the theme for a wedding that has been 30 years in the making .

  15. Rosie Red

We have a ‘secret ceremony’ planned for 5th May (the anniversary of when we met) at Greenwich Registry office followed by a big community action day on 27th September where we will announce our marriage & share the love.

My dream dress would probably be a bit 1950s style with some glitz to it 🙂

  16. Chloe Watson

I am getting married on the 23rd of May 2020, which is a very long long way away but I have imagined my wedding dress since I was a little girl. My minds eye has always seen a long flowing train and veil, long lace sleeves, with a plain satin floor length skirt. The shape of the dress is the point where I become unstuck, being a curvier lady (and never having bought a dress like this before) I don’t know what shape will suit me. I am not really one for tradition so I would also love to somehow incorporate colour into my dress.

I am going to be getting married in my local church in Devon England, and the reception will be in my local theater which has the sea at its doorstep.

I can’t wait to celebrate the day I get married to my best friend, and if I could be wearing one of your dresses it would be the icing on the cake!

  17. Laura Macleod

I am marrying my best friend (a true Scots loon!) in September 2018 at Ardoe House Hotel in Aberdeen. My fiance and I are both very close to our families and we cannot wait to share our special day surrounded by family, friends and the people we love the most.

My dream dress you ask? Up until now my mind would have conjured up an image of this imaginary dress with lace, long sleeves and a beautiful sweetheart neckline….

Exactly like the second picture on this post? STUNNING! 🙂

  18. Ani Costa

We’re getting married in Battle Abbey in August 21st! My dream dress would be completely encrusted with swarovski crystals from head to foot!

  19. Mairi Paton

My wedding is 16th June 2018, at Pratis Barns near St.Andrews in Scotland. My dream dress would be a floor length fitted style, beautiful back detail maybe with a low back or backless design and lots of lace. I cannot wait to find the dream dress!
    Thanks 🙂

  20. Kiss

Hey hey! My wedding is May 2018 Las Vegas Baby!! Yet to find the dream dress but…. the dream is a backless super fitted glamourous mermaid gown that pools on to the floor is a simple silk or silk crepe fabric… Hollywood glamour through and through simple and oh so elegant! I have the crystal shoes now Cinderella needs the dress! ❤️ Xoxo

  21. Elaine Trimmings

  22. karen weeks

    We met on TINDER..
he lived miles away but moved from his home town, left his job, family and friends and moved to Bath..
We are getting married in December .. as near to Xmas as possible in Cuba.
It will be just the two of us… we want it as intimate and romantic as possible as Nicholas is my absolute Hero…. we have been through a lot in the past 2 1/2 years and he is just the best..
My dress….. i want it long, relaxed, lace and backless – possibly large keyhole… but i have boobs… they need holding up!!! so cups need to be sewn in if possible .

  23. Mariah Holden

Hi! I’m getting married on 11/5/2019 in Bedfordshire. My ideal dress would be something elegant, flowing princess style❤

  24. Denise

My wedding is on the 15th of July this year after a short engagement. We’re having it with sea views in Lynmouth at the Pavillon. As for my dress I don’t want a cake topper puffy thing, something more classing, bohemian, vintage inspired. I’d like natural fabrics and something backless or some other unique feature. I think I’m just waiting until I get a moment to try on dresses and have that feeling of it’s the one

  25. Katie Foster

Our wedding is on the 1st November 2017 in Florida. My dress would look fairytale-esque, with a hint of vintage and a little colour. Perfect!

  26. Amber Leeson

21st July 2018 for me; it’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one starting to plan now for next summer! My venue is Adlington Hall in Cheshire and I’m looking for a drop waist full skirt ballgown with tons and tons of Tulle!

  27. Our wedding is set for 8/1/2018 the day after our 10year anniversary. We’re having a registry office ceremony followed by a reception, in a beautiful Barn with exposed beams in the ceiling. My dream dress would have stars all over it, its very similar to a gorgeous Jenny Packham design I’ve been eyeing up…

  28. Stacey Ogburn

We are getting married in Montego Bay Jamaica at the Hyatt Ziva resort July 2018. My dream dress in a backless Vera Wang lace dress with an A line skirt from her white range. I am also in love with jenny packhams dresses and cannot wait to try some on to decide what I love the most.

  29. Stacey Sargant

I’m getting married at the end of April next year. My dream dress would have a sweetheart neckline, probably 3/4 sleeves, not too poofy and hopefully I’ll know it when I see it. Having a limited budget it would be great to have £1200 to spend at David’s Bridal as that is where my only planned appointment is.

  30. Susan Hughes

Our wedding is on the 22nd March next year in Northern Ireland, still looking for the perfect venue!
My ideal dress would be the Vera Wang Kate Hudson wears in the film Bride Wars.. full ball gown in white broken up with a purple ribbon (my signature colour)!

  31. MissMrsMsMrs

7th October 2017 in London – our reception is at The Lamb Tavern in Leadenhall Market. My dream dress is pretty but not fussy, with a touch of lace and maybe a little sparkle to glam it up. Off the shoulder and mermaid/sheath style to make me feel elegant! I’ve already tried on a few dresses at David’s Bridal and was so impressed with the service there that it’s where I’ll be buying my dress regardless of whether I win this competition!

  32. Shona wallace

I am entering this for my cousin who is not on facebook so cant enter and she is getting married 16/05/18 at burnhouse manor and her dream wedding and dress is ivory vintage fish tail lace style dress and if i won this for her it would make her day that little bit more special and she deserves that and more 😍😘

  33. Elizabeth Elliott

Our wedding date is set for 28/07/2018. Already so excited to start planning!
It will be at my parent house in Hampshire and in the woodland nearby. Because of that I’m looking for a dress that is slightly non-traditionally to fit in with the non-traditional surroundings.

  34. Stacey Orr

My dream dress is something that makes me feel and look good and has an air of elegance and sophistication to it.
We are getting married on 12th January 2018 at Orocco Pier in South Queensferry.

  35. Jordanna

To win this would be a dream come true! My fiancé and myself are due to get married in April 2019. We are getting married at Cressbrook Hall in Derbyshire. It’s such a beautiful venue and winning this would complete the puzzle. My dream dress is from one of Vera Wang’s collections. It’s black with beautiful blush pink underlayers. I also fell in love with the dress featured in Gossip Girl where the actress, Leighton Meester wore one of Wang’s A-line bridal gowns from 2010. It had chantilly lace detailing with a horsehair bow attached at the waist.
All the very best to everyone who has entered!

  36. Phillipa ODonovan

I’m planning my wedding for June 15, 2019 at Mount Druid in Ireland.
My dream wedding dress would be a two piece; lace crop top and silk skirt.

  37. Heather

I’m getting married on the 15th feb 2020 at the three kings in Falkirk, Scotland. My dream dress would be A line or ball gown with plenty of lace and sparkle 😍

  38. Samira Koelle

    Hi everyone!

So we’re getting married in Lima, Peru and our date is really soon…April the 8th. My dream dress would be floor length, maybe princess style that later you can turn into a short dress or party dress for comfortably dancing 🙂

  39. Viivi

I’m getting married September 2018 somewhere in Central Finland. My dream dress is tea lenght because I want my sparkly shoes to be seen.
