Oh yes I am.

So much good stuff was posted online between Christmas and New Year relating to business lessons. I guess this is the time to be inspired for the most prosperous, exciting and utterly bloody awesome year to come!

Can’t wait, can’t wait!

♥ Molly Crabapple’s advice for young artists is a must read!
♥ 10 lessons for creatives from Lena Dunham
♥ Social media marketing explained in 61 words
Blog photo layout guides (these are awesome)
10 blogging resolutions for 2013
♥ Shauna really knows her stuff and I love reading about how and why she’s done a brand audit. She also explains why we now call her Shauna and not Nubby (which took some getting used to believe me!)
♥ At least 1 in 3 US couples last year found wedding suppliers on wedding blogs
♥ Are you tempted to do a 365 this year?
♥ How to have more creative ideas more often (I always get the best ideas when I’m in the bath!)
♥ 6 warning signs that your blog is deflating
♥ True professionals don’t fear amateurs
♥ Accepting the status quo, and worse, getting used to it – is a proven path to stagnation
♥ On finding inspiration

But for some light relief before you put all that good stuff into practice, read the 25 funniest autocorrects of 2012. I promise you will have actual tears rolling down your face and stomach cramp by the end of it!

  1. Anita Edwards

Have just had some very worried looks in my office as I cried with laughter and nearly choked at the autocorrects, thank you!

  2. A brilliant post Kat. I absolutely love your Business Bites posts. They’re what keep inspiring me to keep going with my fledgling business! Speaking of inspiration, I always get mine just before I go to sleep at night. I’ve taken to keeping a notebook in my bedside table drawer and writing them down as soon as I think of them, otherwise I know they’ll have disappeared by the time I wake up in the morning!
