When was your last holiday? Being in the height of Summer I’d imagine that many of you lucky ducks will have been jetting off to warmer climes recently… well, unless of course you work in the wedding industry – May to August is what I like to affectionately refer to as ‘silly season’. Everyone’s getting married, wedding suppliers are running around like headless chickens and wedding bloggers are tied to their computers trying to keep up with blogging about all of it! It’s mental, but totally totally awesome.
However it gets to the end of August and I start to feel a little jaded. I need a break… a proper one. I need to get away from my computer, away from meetings in the busy, sweaty sticky capital (London I love ya but your tubes ain’t half gross when it’s 30 degrees out) and to unwind. Which is why I’m thrilled to introduce FlipKey Vacation Rentals to you today. A mini break here? YES PLEASE.
FlipKey is an online holiday rentals directory with over 160,000 worldwide listings! Whether you’re looking for a cute cottage for a quick getaway, or a beach resort for a unique honeymoon… or even a private home to host your wedding, they can help. Hello!? They even have a section for treehouse rentals!!
Simply enter your destination and dates and the site will bring up the options suitable for you. To contact each rental owner or to book your choice you simply sign up and message them through the site. Easy!
And the best thing? Prices are stonkingly affordable, with many of the owners offering deals and discounts during quieter periods. There really is something on there to suit all budgets. It’s a much more affordable option than booking an hotel, and in my opinion a much more fun way to travel! Whenever I go away (for work or play) I prefer to book an apartment over a hotel – it’s cheaper and you get much more of a feel for a place when you’re not smack bang in the middle of tourist-ville.
I’m so excited to introduce this company to you today. I love what they do and it’s given me the perfect excuse to daydream about holidays in Maui all morning…
So tell me, where do you fancy jetting off to next?
