Danielle & Jose are probably about the cutest couple I know. The first time I met them, at a party in LA last August, we spent the whole night huddled in the corner chatting about life, love, the universe and our mutual appreciation of British culture… and photo booths! So when Danielle emailed me just before I left for Vegas to tell me they were going to be there at the same time I just about squealed with delight to be able to see my friends again.
Then, when I told my travel buddy Lisa Devlin that I’d be meeting them during our trip she offered to do a couple shoot with them. It was the perfect excuse for us to drive out to the desert, decorate a Joshua tree with gold glitter curtains and enjoy the incredible light!
“When we heard that the wonderful Lisa Devlin wanted to photograph us, we were so excited to work with her,” Danielle told me afterwards. “The only photos Jose and I have taken together aside from our wedding photos were done with a self timer so it was especially exciting for us to work with someone like her. We felt honored to be captured by such an amazing photographer.”
“The whole day was quite an adventure, and even though there was a lot going on in the background (as a couple of drunken uninvited guests decided to crash our party!) Lisa made us feel very much at ease during the process. We are so thankful to Lisa and her fantastic assistant Amy, as well as to Kat for bringing us together!”
Yeeey. Gosh aren’t these guys just the most adorable thing ever? Thank you so much for allowing us to photograph and blog you (again!) and thank you for being such wonderful friends.
