London based photographer Laura Babb wants to shoot Rock n Roll Bride – so what better way to get what she wants than to host a competition where one of you lucky lot can win her services for your wedding.

Living in Camden, Laura loves all things quirky and alternative and she wants this to extend to her wedding photography too. She says, “I started my wedding photography journey after studying fine art photography.  A friend asked me to photograph their wedding and I loved it so much that I decided then and there that a wedding photographer was what I want to be when (if?!) I grow up.”

“I love photographing anything but I’m drawn to the weird, wonderful and quirky.  When I’m not photographing weddings I like street photography and photographing urban landscapes. I also love art, architecture, Bikram yoga, cups of tea, cake, wine, cake and wine, backcombing my hair, fascinators, indie and folk music, power ballads, purple, gerberas, Star Trek (yes, really!), people watching and shiny things.”

“I’m lucky enough to have several weddings booked for next year that will be really original, fun and unique.  I want more though!  The weddings on Rock n Roll Bride often have me squealing with delight and I’d really like to work with a couple who have really thought about the detail of their big day. I’m not looking for the most off the wall couple (although off the wall is always, always good) but the couple with plans for a wedding day that reflects them and their uniqueness.”

The Prize

This amazing prize of free wedding and engagement photography is open for one couple between now and the end of 2012 (excluding Sept 2012 as Laura is getting married herself!)

It will include:

♥ A pre-wedding or civil partnership photo shoot and a USB stick of approximately (minimum of) 50 fully edited print resolution images
♥ Eight hours wedding day coverage by two photographers (Laura & an assistant)
♥ A USB stick with print resolution wedding images (approximately 350 fully edited images)

To enter simply drop Laura an email to laura.j.babb@googlemail.com entitled “Free Wedding Photography Contest” by Sunday 23rd October 2011, including a few paragraphs about yourself and your wedding. Please include:

♥ A recent photograph of you and your fiance
♥ Your name (and your fiance’s name)
♥ Your age
♥ Where you live and where your’re getting married
♥ Your wedding date
♥ A moodboard that shows with your wedding inspiration/ideas/theme

Please also include the correct credits for each image you include in your moodboard (i.e. where you found the image and who took the photograph.) This is really important as Laura will be sharing the winning board on her blog afterwards and it’s important to credit images sources.
