A Sunday Kind of Love – The Niemierko Wedding Academy at The Dorchester

April 10, 2011

Wedding planner du jour, Mark Niemierko is a genius. In May, at The Dorchester no less, he will be sharing his trade secrets on how to plan a wedding in his own enviable style. Are you a budding wedding planner and want to learn from the best? Well my darlings, this is the event for you…

“Following overwhelming demand, Mark Niemierko, the UK’s foremost luxury wedding planner, will share his trade and style secrets at the very first Niemierko Wedding Academy. Consisting of a high-end inspirational experience, the Niemierko Wedding Academy will help equip its students with the tools and contacts to become wedding planners of quality in the future.”

“In order to reveal his best secrets, Mark will be joined by a host of industry leading experts, including renowned florist Rob Van Helden and celebrity make-up artist Maggie Hunt, with more names to be revealed in the lead up to the first course.”

“Each day over the course of one week, students will be offered a real insight into the ‘Niemierko world’. Mark and his team have planned a meticulous schedule ensuring pupils cover all aspects of how he organises, creates and oversees a couples wedding. This will cover the process of planning, wedding etiquette, budgeting, bridal fashion and beauty, Q&A sessions and a typical food and drinks tasting within The Krug Room at the Dorchester. In addition, the course also covers how best to create a wedding day around a couple through a flower class and visit to Covent Garden flower market, mood boards, production design, selecting tableware, furniture, lighting and entertainment. The days are broken down into concise classes, between which breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and the odd glass of champagne will be served.”

I don’t know about you but I’m sold. Learning and champagne? I’m there! (well in spirit anyway…)

This week-long course is limited to just 12 participants will take place in the week beginning the 9th May 2011. The course fee is priced at £1,950.
