When this Baby Hits 88 mph…

Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah… Are you telling me that you built a time machine… out of a DeLorean?
Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you’re gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?

Back to the Future is my favourite movie. Like ever…I am also quite¬†partial to the sequels and am still convinced that in 5 years time we will all have hover boards. I even have a die-cast Delorean on my windowsill that Gareth got me one Christmas…yes I am that much of a geek.

So when I saw this engagement shoot starring my ultimate dream car (shh don’t tell the Honda outside) well there was no way I wasn’t going to feature it!

“I was shooting this couple at an airport with their plane and some dude came out of the hangar and said that we should use his Delorean” photographer Carl told me. “I was like, YES AND YES! It was epic!”

Thanks to Carl for sharing these…

“Why don’t you just make like a tree and get outta here!” So. Good!

On their save the dates they should put “Where we’re going we don’t need roads” LURVE These!

  3. Oh man. I told my husband about these when I saw them on Carl’s blog, and he thought it was AWESOME (as did I!). I wonder if there’s even a Delorean in this country, because I want this shoot for my very own!

Back to the Future…the first one is always gonna be the best, but Part II is so SO awesome! If there’s one thing I love in movies, it’s time travel that causes the future to change, and having to fix it, and then trying and stop the bad guys from jumping the other you while you’re on stage singing Johnny B Goode.

I often bemoan the fact that I was born in the wrong era – I could always imagine myself in a malt shop sipping a milkshake wearing my bobby socks and petticoats and I totally love back to the future for the way it depicts the 50s – It just seemed like a much more innocent time (despite Marty’s mum flirting with him when she thought he was Calvin Klein!)

Great photoshoot too, by the way!
