Ashley & Hunter’s wedding had me smitten as soon as I saw it. They went for a fun fair theme with brightly coloured and fun pinwheels, noise makers, rock candy, pumpkins and a BBQ from Buz n Neds Barbeque . This pair both have a self-confessed obsession with shoes so Ashley wore an amazing pair from Betsey Johnson with a Marilyn Monroe portrait on the sole and Hunter wore red, black and white high top Vans that matched their brightly colored wedding…the bridesmaids even wore red pumps to match.
Ashley dress was by Alvina Valenta which she teamed it with an amazing antique brooch which she found at Ant Hill Antiques in Carytown in Richmond, Va. Their flowers were vibrant and sunny to match the theme and the bridesmaids all wore their own purple mis-matched dresses.

Off the Hook Carnival Eye Candy

I knew Amy & Jesse's wedding would be off-the-hook with it's intense awesomeness as soon as I saw and blogged their engagements a while back. Surely a couple this offbeat and rockin' couldn't have anything but a super crazy, kooky, inspirational and incredible wedding day could they? However, even I was blown off my chair when I laid eyes on these little beauties. Their DIY, carnival wedding was not only ridiculously creative and awe-inspiring but the couple themselves literally looked like a candy covered explosion of kick ass attitude and fun all over! (By the way I fully realise that my explanation of my thoughts on this wedding probably make little or no grammatical and linguistical sense - however my intense excitement over getting to blog these appears to have rendered by logical brain dysfunctional!) Got it? Right...on with the show...

One of the things that really stood out in your survey responses was that a lot of you wanted more Rock n Roll same sex weddings. Well my dears, you ask and I deliver! I have actually been dying to feature Lindsey & Amanda's wedding for a while now but with wedding season being in full flow I have been a trifle busy! Ange and Glen's wedding day started with an intimate ceremony with just 25 guests at Cardiff City Hall. They then moved on to The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff for a Wales vs Argentina rugby match! The day concluded with a massive party blow out in a marquee in the back garden of the pub where they had their first date.

Leila and Jake were inspired by their mutual love of music for their wedding. That, and the groom loving the fun fair! The wedding took place in Malibu, California. "To others our wedding might have looked unique or alternative, but for us a couple it was just who we are", began the bride. "We are both pretty heavily tattooed and pierced and we met outside one of his shows in California (he is a professional drummer)."
