It’s official. I am actually starting to finally believe that the UK is catching up to America in the style stakes. When this wedding winged it’s way to me from the West Midlands (that’s a bit up north for my American readers!) I knew straight away that sharing it would make me a very happy blogger indeed.
Katie & Matt had a very personal and private wedding with on 25 of their closest friends and family at The Moat House in Staffordshire. It was a right old party full of music, booze (of course) and lots and lots of dancing! Katie looked quite the Rock n Roll princess in her Ian Stuart ‘Mae’ dress and her Benjamin Roberts shoes. Matt looked just as stylish in his suit by Reiss. What made this wedding even better and more personal was that a friend of the family did the flowers and Katie’s sister’s best friend made the cake. Love it!
Thanks to Lee for sharing this fabulous wedding with us Rock n Rollers today!

Great photos Kat; I’m actually from a little village called Great Haywood, only 5 miles from The Moat House and have been to a wedding there before – its one helluva drop-dead gorgeous venue it is.
I have to completely agree with you too, there are some very stylish Brit Brides out there clocking up some style points at the mo.
Get in!

I’ve only just discovered this site, but those are the most superb wedding photographs I have ever seen. The outdoor black and white ones look like they have come straight from a Godard film scene. I now want to get married!

awww this is such a cute wedding!! pretty much like I imagine my own, and for a slight resemblance with the bride – short dark hair and glasses! BTW I think that wearing glasses also on your wedding day is such a brave choice! I’ve been wearing glasses all my life but I’d rather not wear them at least on that day… we shall see!!

Hello and welcome to my little blog. My name is Kat Williams aka the Rock n Roll Bride and my aim is to provide a little haven of kick ass weddingness in a cookie cutter, pastel and often puke-worthy wedding world. If you’ve ever picked up a bridal magazine and felt queasy or trawled the internet and felt disheartened by what you didn’t find well, my friend, you are in the right place!
