I have rather a loving relationship with all the regular contributors to Rock n Roll Bride. After all, they are the ones keeping me going and sending me wonderful and inspiring content to share with you all. So when Jeremy Lawson told me that his love for me continued to grow …well I could hardly say no to featuring Melissa and Howell’s fabulously chic wedding could I? (ps emails like this really make me smile so thank you thank you thank you!)
For the portraits, Jeremy jumped in a cab with the couple and darted around chicago shooting the pair at various locations before heading back to celebrate in style.
As always..much love my friend. Jeremy rocks my world don’t ya know

Easy Going and Super Cool Wedding in Berlin

Berlin is probably one of the coolest places I've ever been. There's this crazy juxtaposition of the old, overgrown and almost derelict looking architecture, with a really unique arty and creative vibe. Nearly everything is covered in graffiti or art of some kind. Jamie and Angi's wedding couldn't be more Berlin if it tried. I adore everything about it!

Having never been to a traditional wedding as adults, Jen & Nick really had no preconceptions about what should happen at a wedding. Instead they took to it as they might when planning any party...and they did what they wanted!

I adore featuring weddings like Alexa & Andy's the most. British, quirky, emotional and fun! The couple got married at Birmingham Registry Office on Easter Sunday and had the awesome Steve Gerrard on hand to take all their photographs. The room was really modern and had a gorgeous courtyard outside which made for some beautiful portraits.

Off the Hook Carnival Eye Candy

November 17, 2009
I knew Amy & Jesse's wedding would be off-the-hook with it's intense awesomeness as soon as I saw and blogged their engagements a while back. Surely a couple this offbeat and rockin' couldn't have anything but a super crazy, kooky, inspirational and incredible wedding day could they? However, even I was blown off my chair when I laid eyes on these little beauties. Their DIY, carnival wedding was not only ridiculously creative and awe-inspiring but the couple themselves literally looked like a candy covered explosion of kick ass attitude and fun all over! (By the way I fully realise that my explanation of my thoughts on this wedding probably make little or no grammatical and linguistical sense - however my intense excitement over getting to blog these appears to have rendered by logical brain dysfunctional!) Got it? Right...on with the show...
A HUGE Rock n Roll thank you to Marina of Red Heart Photography for sending these over. I couldn't wait to blog these (as always) and so the photos below are actually only part 1 & 2 of her posts. Go check out her blog over the next few weeks for even more eye candy!

Oklahoma City Tattoo Studio Wedding

Raegan and Randy had their summer wedding at Blackmint Collective Tattoo Studio in Oklahoma City. It was the perfect venue as they and most of their bridal party and guests all have tattoos. There's a real industrial feel to their day, with the venue's exposed lighting rigs and brick walls dotted with modern art, all softened by details like pastel-glazed donuts and the delicate greens of succulents. It's a look that says modern wedding with an edge, and it's beautiful.

ARE. YOU. READY. For the best thing you've ever seen? Rock n Roll Bride was founded on celebrating alternative weddings that are totally different, and this is going to blow your mind. Laura and Florian's Berlin wedding was a neon wonderland, including the coolest neon stationery and glow-in-the-dark eyeliner. Techno? More like Tech-YES.
